They don’t know much about the fish they sell. The sold me salt water fish and said it was freshwater. Another time they sold me a baby redtail catfish and decided not to tell me how large they get.
On Good Friday, my son set out to find a pet store that was open, and with a stroke of luck, he discovered an absolute gem—Aqua House! Without a doubt, it’s the best aquarium store in the entire GTA. Every associate we interacted with was an absolute pleasure—friendly, personable, and incredibly helpful. Both of my kids were eager to pick out a fish, and thanks to the knowledgeable staff, they left not only thrilled but also with just the right essentials for their new pets. The fact that the store was open on Good Friday was an extra treat for them! A huge thank you to everyone who made our experience so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back. Ps. The fish are loving their new homes.
Rude employees they don't even take you seriously it's never been like that this place was actually great to go when owner was there but the newer employees treated me bad and doubled prices on me I think it's because I am a kid I don't recommend going to a place where your going to get treated like your an idiot
Really nice aquarium with lots of types of fish and colours. Saw a rare silver arowana with black fins and red spots on the fins here that I never seen in any other store. Would definitely purchase one when they are restocked in the future.
pretty clean and organized fish store, i came here for shrimp. I asked the guy for the prices and he seemed pretty unsure about them and gave me a whole different range of numbers. Overall this is a good store for livestock.
Pretty good tank quality. Owner makes sure the fish have adequate swimming space in their tanks whether it’s big or small baby fish. Found 2 baby pearlscale goldfish (rare to find without crown) here in good condition. I felt assured buying here when the water was clean and the fish weren’t overcrowded and no signs of infection.
We get most of our aquarium accessories, fishes and shrimps for the store. The staffs are ok. Just recently we bought a plant from them to our tank. The plant was not clean. every day we keep finding aquarium snails in the tank. We clean up the snails. next day they are more in the tank. We are pretty frustrated, and not sure how to get rid of the snails. Anyone has this experience? I kinda lose confidence with this store.
