They will degrade and ruin your children's self confidence they care about money and not your child. My daughter had the biggest passion in basketball and is incredible she was treated like nothing and we would drive hours just to watch her be benched and maybe play 1 min each game when paying a arm and leg it's not something you want to see. Thank God she has joined a new team and is treated amazing with the help of her new coach he has built her self confidence back up and actually plays all his players my daughter is scoring and succeeding like crazy now I even have other coaches coming up to me asking to have her on there team. Avoid gators at all cost they only care about the money !
My son u13 enjoyed the camp i enrolled, he likes the culture of the club. They did a lot of conditioning, live game situation drills and fundamentals. He became a more confident player and person after his time there, I wish we signed him up all summer.
My little brother has now played there for 5 years in the beginner classes, camps and is now playing Rep and loving it! The coaches at all levels have pushed him and I've witnessed the growth! Great Club!
Organization is in dire need of leadership! Everyone passes the puck! Coaches can’t coach. Or they dont care to. Whether they are paid or not, is not a parents responsibility! We have paid our fees and we deserve educated, knowledgeable, communicable and have leadership, people that can coach and that want to coach our kids!!!! For me it’s been an on going whine and complain session the entire season! Not enough time for practices, Never really be able to get individuals to gel as a team. The organization does initially look organized but don’t be fooled ! I sensed it once fees were paid. No uniforms till half way into the season, camps that were paid for that never happened.
i think coaches are great but the management is a problem. parents do not get alerted when there’s no practices and many had to travel quite a distance to get there only to find out that there’s no session. (yes some other activities do have sessions held even during march breaks etc…) my sons are disappointed.
My son registered with the Richmond Hill Gator rep team during the summer and it turned out to be a nightmare experience. The rep team got hammered by other teams constantly in games...I MEAN HAMMERED And you would expect the so-called coaches to provide some in-game coaching to help the kids...but there is none. As a parent it is with tough to see the kids suffer in the game and my boy cried a lot after the game. Will never return.
Coach Ken, Sean, etc. are very dedicated to the growth of the players from not just a basketball perspective, but from a holistic growth point of view.
