Hi, Just wanted to say that I asked Le Maxim’s to recreate my Wedding Cake for my 25th Anniversary Surprise for my wife. Megan and her team did an awesome job! Everyone loved the 4 tiered cake and the taste of the cakes were perfect, each level was a different favour! Can’t say enough. Highly recommend Le Maxim’s cakes. Also Megan worked closely to ensure the vision of the cake design. Thank you!

The atmosphere and customer service were amazing, and you can't forget their delicious pastries and cakes. I always order a cake from here in advance for special occasions.

Owner was really nice, great customer service. However, the iced matcha latte I got tasted mostly like milk. The quality of the matcha doesn’t feel authentic and they also don’t have other milk options other than whole milk.

The very first time my family bought a birthday cake from this sister bakery of Maxim (on Bayview), we received a terrible product. We had ordered the black sesame cake and when we picked it up from the store, the employee on duty not only gave me the blankest stare, but he also picked an EXISTING cake from the gallery/window and proceeded to then bring it to the back to the kitchen to squeeze "Happy Birthday" on it. This gave me the worst premonition as I felt the cake was not freshly made. My fears were confirmed later that night when we cut up slices and served it after dinner at a restaurant. The sponge was super dry and practically stale as well. I was quite surprised that Maxim would allow a product like that to stay in their gallery, let alone have it be sold to a customer past a certain period of time. ANYWAYS, fast forward to recently, my cousin ordered her wedding cake here. It was a matcha cream, multi-layer sponge cake w/ a layer of strawberry jam near the bottom. This cake was MUCH better than the aforementioned one we bought in the past and the sponge was not dry this time. One thing my cousin's mom mentioned though which imo was lame, was that they charged her $25 labour to put real roses on top of her cake. The kicker is that my cousin had to bring her own flowers! So not only did she have to buy her own flowers to provide to them, but they also charged her a BS labour fee (all you gotta do is cut the tops of the flowers off the steams and stick em on the cake, that is DEFINTIELY NOT worth a $25 charge). Total money grab lol. Given the sum of my cake experiences w/ this offshoot of the original Maxim (black sesame one and then this much better matcha wedding cake), I'd say 3 stars overall is fair and balanced. Although, if I'm gonna order from Maxim again of my own volition, I think I'll stick to their almond meringue cakes at the OG location.

Went in by luck since the craving for cake was growing after a light dinner The shop was delightful just like their pastry selection, as well the cute guy behind the counter who was extremely nice and knows everything about their products Brought home 3 pretty items and they were all delish, not overly sweet is the key point, eating sugar should never be sinful.

Absolutely heavenly! This meringue cake was a dream and just the right amount of sweetness. The workers were super kind and accommodating, I asked for less sugar, and more fruits. I would absolutely order this again

Le Maxim’s is one of my favourite dessert spots! Their mango black sesame meringue cake is a must-try – crispy on the outside, nutty and creamy inside, with juicy mango chunks that balance everything perfectly. It’s their most popular cake for a reason! The tiramisu is rich, smooth, and beautifully layered – not too sweet, with a perfect dusting of cocoa on top. I also got to try their new biscoff cake (coming soon!) – soft, spiced, and topped with crunchy Biscoff crumble – I can already tell it’ll be a hit. This time I got takeout for the cakes and ate them the next day — they were still incredibly fresh and delicious! I always grab either their lemon iced tea or Hong Kong-style milk tea when I visit. The portion is generous and the tea is super rich and satisfying. Megan and Rick always greet you with a big smile and warm welcome. Super friendly service every time. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves thoughtful desserts and great tea!

Hi Jason, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to clarify a small misunderstanding about the $25 charge. That fee was not for adding the flowers—it was for the matcha flavor upgrade. The wedding cake was also confirmed in less than 24 hours. We truly appreciate your support of Le Maxims!
