Good portion for the price and it reminds me of Home, Belize where people can drink at the bar and dine in. It’s not too crowded. The fried rice and the cabana spicy wings are great and delicious!
A couple of us foodies gathered here for Sunday Lunch. Some of us were new to Guyanese Chinese and some of us have had it before. We ordered quite a few different dishes and shared them all. This place gets pretty busy and we watched both the Jays Game and the Football Game. They have quite a few TV's in every direction. We tried: ? Cabana Wonton Soup ? Curry Goat & Roti ? Cabana Fried Rice ? Cabana Combo (Appetizers) ? Singapore Noodles ? Basha (Spicy) ? Cabana Mixed Veggies ? Calamari ? Lo-Wontons My absolute favorites were the Basha and the Calamari . They are quite similar as they're coated with the same seasonings. Both were so yummy. The curry goat was incredibly flavorful. I'm not huge on rice dishes but loved the presentation on the Cabana Fried Rice. Portions and presentation were on point. I'd definitely come back
Do you like Caribbean food? Chinese food? How about Caribbean Chinese food? If you said yes, you'll have to try Caribbean Cabana in Markham. If you said no, you still have to try them! I recently dined there with friends, some of them not too familiar with this style of food, and they all loved it! We started with a Wonton Soup that was packed with wontons and vegetables. That was followed by the Cabana Combo Platter that included lots of tasty items - Spring Rolls, Shrimp Rolls, Chicken Wontons, Shrimp Wontons, Onion Rings, and Fries. Next, we had the Basha Fish; Cabana Mixed Vegetables; and Curry Goat with Dahlpuri; the very popular Cabana Fried Rice with Fried Chicken on Top; and Singapore Noodles. It was all so good and we wanted more, so we added their Calamari, and Lo-Wontons. It was all delicious! Caribbean Cabana is a cozy spot that seems to have a lot of regular customers who were there cheering on the Blue Jays to another victory. Ordered a large tray of chicken fried rice on Saturday for an important family event. I brought it home and was the first person to eat. I found a woman's hair inter-twined in my food and another guest who got his food after me, also found another hair in his food. We both have short hair and no other guests got their food before us. I felt disgusted and lost my appetite after that. I called Caribbean Cabana and spoke to the owner on Monday as I was busy with my guests over the weekend, as some were from the States and went back Monday morning. He was very accusational and said that it may have been one of my guests' hair and very unapologetic. He asked why I didn't call when I first noticed it. I didn't want to cause a scene and to save myself from the embarrassment at the time. I regret not calling in front of all of my guests now, to let them know how bad it really is here. I saw a lady working in the kitchen with long black hair, and she was not wearing a hair net. The owner did not even apologize. I called not looking for compensation but for the owner to accept responsibility and got neither of those things. Having said that, this place will not see myself nor my family and friends ever again. It may be cheap but you do get what you pay for...
Wow this food was tasty....had the pepper shrimp for appetizer then the fried rice and chicken. In the fried rice there is also beef and shrimp ....mmm....really hit the palette...guyanese chinese mix here ...check out the menu below...
Just ordered skip the dishes and this is how i got my order got no tamper proof seal bag anything could have happened to my food.....not happy when I payed money
Giving them 2 stars because they had too many people inside and was not enforcing masks. People kept walking in from outside without masks. Very disappointed in this. Good food though. *update Pandemic is over, food is still good, but men's washroom is dutty. Put an air freshener in there. Service is always good though!
