I have been here many times and I am never disappointed by their portion and taste and quality! Today I tried their Wednesday s special, Veal on Bun and woww, ITS DELICIOUS!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Owner is a great guy. My extended family has been dealing with him for probably 20 years as he used to be located in Unionville and they lived there. He always remembers me even if i haven't seen him in a year or 2.
Mouldy cakes and pastries. Bought a few pastries/cakes including the Napoleon. It was mouldy inside (just after purchase) - so disgusting. I felt sick after eating one bite and seeing the mould. Please don't eat or purchase items from here.
Wife recommended this place and their sandwiches are delicious! We’ve actually walked by this place a few times before but was always on our way to something else. The sandwiches are < $10, with fresh bread, sliced meats, and cheese! I got the “Fight Club” and wife got the “Angry Birds” (owner tells me his kids named the sandwiches). While we were waiting for our sandwiches, some regulars came in to order and they had a pretty friendly/neighbourly chat with the owner. I’m going to come here a bit more often myself!
Just working around the corner and we happened to find this family run Bakery. We ordered The banging beef and another sandwich we are not allowed to talk about. Forget about subway and fast food places. If you want freshly sliced meat and toppings in your sandwiches this is the places to go. I realized after I should of taken a picture but ate it too fast....sorry
Would give more than 5 stars if I could! A true Markham staple! I've been coming to mothers deli for over 20 years- nothing compares! Ted is truly amazing and there's nothing like visiting a local family business who always put their customers first. The roast beef sandwiches are a MUST TRY - if you know, you know!
A bit of confusion with our cooked Turkey order..but the owner was honest and transparent..and eventually things sorted out... Everyone loved the Turkey..it was moist and delicious- YEAH!
