I suffered a lower back injury in 2010. Dr. Dennis Stathopulos treated me on and off before and after my horrible injury. I'm a tradesman and had to make a decision as I could no longer be efficient in the field and had to adjust accordingly 7 years ago. As I'm getting older, my pain intensified and became very hard to cope with this year. Part of my treatment for pain; 1: Several Pain Medications 2: 8-12 Shots every week. 3: Other Chiropractic Treatments closer to my home. Above pain treatment became less effective earlier this year. It was recommended for me to get a trial epidermal shot. This was not a good experience and made things worse where I was down hard for over 3 weeks. Needless to say I refused to return for the follow-up epidermal shot. I returned 4 months ago to TFC after several years and made the sacrifice to go the extra distance. Started with 2 appointments per week now down to once per week now. For the first time, in a long time I feel amazing and my pain is manageable. Thanks to Dr. Dennis Stathopulos and Dr. Leon Paschalidis, I feel amazing. I could literally kick myself now for not returning sooner, now that I can move better. Lol! Improvements in my overall health since starting treatment at TFC: 1: Much happier now that pain is manageable 2: Snoring is no longer a big problem. 3: My Sleep Pattern is better 4: Increased Energy 5: Blood Pressure haas reduced and now within range. For years even with BP Meds this was always unstable. 6: TFC gave me advice on additional things to do during the day specifically for my situation. 7: Got my Self Confidence Back after having pain dominate my life for so many years. 8: Reduced the amount of Pain Medications and Frequency I was taking before. The past several years I have suffered severe lower back pain (Spinal Stenosis) and sciatica. I had reached a point where I could only stand for 15 mins at a time and would have to sit with my leg stretched out. If I sat for very long periods the pain got worse. Going to Thornhill family chiropractic has been the best decision I've made for myself and my children! I've been seeing Doctor Leon Paschalidis for many years. In fact, he's adjusted all my children while they were days and in some cases only hours old. I have gone to other clinics and could tell right away that Thornhill Family Chiropractic was a cut above when I first walked into their lobby. They have very professional equipment (drop tables, activators, etc.) - my previous chiropractor was very forceful with his adjustments, but it was only after having been adjusted by Leon using one of his drop tables that I realized just how much a difference the right equipment can make. At the end of the day, it comes down to trust (at least for me). I know the chiropractors at Thornhill Family Chiropractic went to top schools, and they make me feel very comfortable when I'm on their table, they always take the time to explain things to me in language I understand. Clearly if I let Leon adjust my newborn after just a couple hours after being born I obviously trust him with my life and the health of my family. On a personal note, Angela, who works the front desk is amazing. She's super pleasant and always caring to little ones who want her attention (adults too of course). There's a small play area for kids when you first walk-in and honestly half the time my kids don't want to leave! You know they're doing something right when kids don't want to leave a doctor's office! I'm currently out of the country for a few weeks and I'm very much looking forward to getting back into my routine and getting regular adjustments at Thornhill Family Chiropractic.
