Stopped by while I was doing laundry and I gotta say this is some of the best pastries ive tried in Markham, unfortunately I didn’t take a picture because I locked in and ate everything but for anyone looking to try a new pastry spot this place is definitely 10/10 for me

I contacted several bakeries in Markham to pre-order a Tuxedo cake (my daughter's favourite) for her birthday. DS Confection was the only one that made tuxedo cakes - we couldn't be more pleased with the service and quality of the cake. Derrick was accommodating and added my cake topper and her name (can't believe I forgot to add this detail) when I picked up the cake. My daughter loved it! Thank you Derrick. We will definitely order from this bakery again!
This is my first time visiting here, the boss and staff are amazing , service is so good .The chocolate is great quality, especially the rum truffle favor is the best I ever tried . Macaron cookies have the perfect balance and favor, very good value here .
Prices are pretty good but the croissant was a bit dense and I wish it was flakier I got the almond croissant and the lemon macaron was a bit dry and lacking flavor
I was going to order a bag of madelines, but inside one of them, there was already mold growing on the cakes. I ordered the chocolate cake pop instead. Honestly, it was okay, but not good enough to make a return visit. After eating each piece of the cake pop, the last few bites felt like I was chewing through a tiny piece of paper or debris that wasn't supposed to be there (like maybe the plastic leeched into the outer layer) and it felt pretty uncomfortable.
We were glad to finally try this new patisserie near Markham-Stouffville hospital. The pastries are delicious, and the croissants are the best we've tried in the area. We've been back several times and will continue to visit in the future. Staff were very kind to our toddler. We also appreciate the generous hours of operation. Definite new favourite!
