Great place to learn PADI scuba diving! Everyone was really professional, passionate, patient, and most importantly really ensured safety throughout the learning. I learned a lot from my open water certificate and would recommend my dive center to anyone who wants to learn scuba diving in Toronto!

What an amazing experience and an absolutely amazing team! My husband and I wanted to get our Scuba Diving certification, as we were leaving for vacation to Mexico and wanted to go diving there. We decided to do the Referral Program, which is basically the theory + confined water dives with 1 Scuba Outfit, and the final open water dives can be completed anywhere in the world, where there is a PADI shop. After much research, and talking to few shops around Toronto, we decided to go with Yoon Chin at My Dive Center. And we are SO GLAD that we did. Initially we were a bit cautious, and their rates were a bit cheaper than some of the other shops we had spoken to, for the same course, and we didn't want the quality of the training compromised due to lesser price being offered, but after speaking to Yoon, I felt super comfortable. Yoon is such am amazing person, and a wonderful instructor. He went out of way to accommodate us (we were working on a very tight schedule), and he made sure that we got all the theoretical training we needed before going into the pool. In the pool, we were trained by instructors Marty and Pat. The pool they rent is not at the shop of the dive center, it's a separate community center and they just rent the facility. And it's a great space for the pool classes. Marty and Pat were both absolutely amazing (and lots of fun be around!!). They made everyone feel comfortable and at ease with the whole process. It was a bit scary initially (especially for me, I had just learned to swim as an adult a year or two ago) but it was honestly so much fun! I honestly couldn't recommend them more. So much so that we even considered doing the full course with these guys (the open water dives, in lake Ontario) but we just didn't have the time otherwise we would have done so. Yoon and his team are extremely passionate about diving, very serious about safety and a lot of fun!!
Yoon and the instructors are all professionals with great attitude and great passion for scuba diving. I took the Open Water diving lesson with "My Dive Center" in summer 2018. When I was considering taking the course my main concern was time. I knew I couldn't attend the classes on regular basis but Yoon helped me to work around my busy schedule. We only set up our first meeting date and time; then at the end of each session we would set up the next meeting until the course was complete. I highly recommend "My Dive Center" to those who want to learn scuba diving properly, especially those with busy schedule.
Yoon what can I say, from the moment I first spoke to you on the phone until I received my PADI Open Water cert my experience with MY DIVE CENTER was both professional and a lot of fun! The instructors in the pool, Marty and Pat also displayed their professional expertise and made it a pleasure to learn. If anyone is looking to get their open water certificate I highly recommend this location. I can’t wait to get my PADI card in the mail!
My boyfriend and I initially did a Discover Scuba Diving lesson. Yoon was very friendly and helpful in introducing us to the diving community and hobby overall. We then continued to do our Open Water certification. We are very pleased with what we’ve learned and the fantastic people we have met. The instructors were always accommodating and supportive. Their passion for scuba diving was obvious through their stories and enthusiasm. I highly recommend My Dive Center to anyone looking to learn how to scuba dive.
