Hero is one of our favorite fast food chains, mainly because of the meat quality, but among different locations, this one is one of the best, its of a regular / ordinary fast food restaurant setting, but the staff are always friendly, and the taste of the burgers and fries are always consistent and tasty .... at least significantly better than those at certain downtown locations.
Not gonna lie, i received the most nastiest burger from here… the burger had no flavour and i also ordered their chicken sandwich, flavourless!!! Ill say their fries were good and the experience at the establishment wasn’t bad or anything but for a burger place it was definitely very disappointing.
I just asked the server about the time left for my order as I waited double the time he asked me (and they had no one to serve other than 3 of us). He walked out of the kitchen and almost punched me lol.. and when I said is that how you talk to your customers? He said you want to give a bad review? Go ahead and do it , I don't care. It was funny , I never write reviews but he reminded me of doing one . I said yeah you don't care ofcourse but your manager/owner might not be motivating you to do all this drama behind his back. Pathetic experience.
I got the signature burger combo. The quality of the meat and fries was excellent. I noticed they had Barq's root beer and I haven't had Barq's for a loooooooong time. This place is a plus+ rating for me and I highly recommend. *First time trying Hero Certified Burger and was surprised how good it was.
Burger tasted great! I really liked how they offered different oz for the meat as someone who doesn't eat much. The ice cream I ordered had milk curds in it which I wasn't a big fan of but it shows that it uses real milk
Food's ok. Fries were too salty. Onion rings were good. I got the jalapeño chicken. It's very spicy, but it's drowning out the chicken taste. 3 star for service because there was no service. I ordered, I paid, and I picked up the food. There's not really any service to comment about. The place is not every customer friendly. No wifi detail was posted even though the computer screen is advertising free wifi. No ketchup, napkins, peppers, etc. available for customers to self-serve like McDonald's. The seats are very comfortable. To me personally, I don't think I'll go back unless my friends want to go.
Good hero burger location. Plenty of parking. So go there order 2 burgers with 2 poutine. Cashier nice and friendly. The only thing was that when I opened the poutine I see there is less gravy and which I called the store and told them that but they said that’s how much I put. But in other stores they put more gravy on the poutine. Other than that the burger tasted very good. Also when my order was ready the cashier told me to take it from the kitchen counter which is behind the cash register.
