I’ve been coming to Bike and Barre in summer for two years now, and I absolutely love their classes, especially Christina’s. She always pushes you to do your best. All of the instructors are fantastic, and the customer service is excellent. They’re understanding and accommodating. I’ll definitely be back next summer!
Instructor, Payge, gave very mean girl vibes. Didn’t greet me as I walked in because I was literally 2 minutes late. Did not hype anyone up except for one girl who happened to also be a pilates instructor. I didn’t feel any burn because she made the exercises too challenging for majority of the class, so most of us were taking multiple breaks and only doing a few reps — and this is coming from someone who has been to several pilates class. There are more efficient ways to work out on a reformer that don’t require us to have one leg on the bar and one constantly in the air! Not to mention the attitude in her voice all class, she basically laughed at the ones who couldn’t keep up, then talked personably to the people who were keeping up with the class, which of course, happened to be the other pilates instructor… Waste of time and money, I you can find better (Culture Studios, Carrie’s Pilates, etc)!!!
Almost 2 years ago, I joined my first reformer class, and I’ve been hooked ever since. From reformer to barre to mat Pilates! I’ve never committed to a single fitness routine for this long, but now it’s truly become my lifestyle. Every class is fun and challenging, and the instructors make it even better — they treat us like friends, not just clients. I genuinely look forward to every session at Bike and Barre!
Honestly, I really enjoy working out at Bike and Barre, especially in Lindsay’s classes. She’s professional, energetic, and always makes the class fun and motivating. However, I’m leaving a low rating because of a very disappointing experience. Last Thursday at 8 pm, I attended a class and wore my Ugg Tazz slippers. When the class ended, my shoes were gone — someone had taken them, and an old, worn-out pair of slippers was left on the shoe shelf instead. Lindsay was kind enough to note down my shoe color and size and mentioned that the studio owner would post an Instagram story to help locate them. I also asked if they could review the camera footage, but as of yesterday, my shoes are still missing, and no more update. The BB team explained that the studio isn’t responsible for personal items, which I understand, but unfortunately there’s no secure place to store shoes other than an open shoe shelf. I requested a refund for my unused sessions, which they processed promptly — I appreciate that part. Still, I feel really sad and disappointed that this happened. I hope the studio considers adding a more secure storage option for guests in the future.
My first time here. Friendly staff, easy parking, and I liked the clean layout with low reformers. I took Asini’s class. The workout itself was good and I definitely broke a sweat, but the music was so loud I couldn’t hear her well and the cues were hard to follow. Even with only five people, there weren’t corrections, no injury check-in, and very few modifications. She performed the workout alongside us. I didn’t feel confident in my form and left worried I might have pulled something because adjustments were minimal. If you want to come in and pump to the beat, this might be your vibe, but it isn’t mine. I’d consider coming back to try a different instructor with more hands-on coaching.
Hi. I just wanted to share that this is an anonymous post, but I attended a 9:00 am reformer class today. I had Asini as my instructor. I just wanted to start off by saying I have heard great reviews from friends and tiktok about this place and had high expectations for my first time. I paid $37 for melanie to be on her phone for majority of the class, (she took a call, pausing our class, claiming it was important). While the phone was in her hand for majority to switch songs, I think it’s so unprofessional when she can be showing us movements instead. Also when she was showing us movements, she wouldn’t do them properly (if we had to use a band, she would demonstrate without using one, not properly displaying how to fully do the movements). I also wanted to add that one person in our class couldn’t do a certain movement, and so instead of giving her a modification and let the rest of the class keep doing it, she couldn’t think of one and just skipped it. I think it’s so improper and unprofessional to not have modifications at hand, especially when we are paying to have the movements learned. I honestly had such high expectations and wish I could come back here with a new instructor but don’t know if i’m willing to pay $37. A refund would’ve been greatly appreciated for this class.
This place is suitable for people any stages of their fitness journey. I went during the anniversary free class weekend and am so appreciative they had it cause u don’t think I wouldn’t ever tried out spin. I grabbed 4 of my friends on wim who also never done spin before and we LOVED IT. Gabby was an amazing instructor and all around person. Wish them them more anniversaries to come!!
