First time shopping here and the Nutritionist, brown girl with glasses , Abby reccomended a gut health ginger pineple drink and probiotics to fix my stomach issues. She fixed it better than my family doctor. Will be coming back., go to abby if u go.
I’ve been a loyal Healthy Planet customer for many years, at many locations including this one. My recent visit to this location gave me the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. The cashier, brown 'young' lady, asked for my ID to redeem points - something I’ve never been asked for at this and any other locations. After I showed it, she was extremely rude, unprofessional, and just stood there for me to pack while a line of customers waited. The store is also small and untidy. I won’t be returning, and I don’t recommend this location to others.
Last time I'll come here! This is the second time this has happened. It's not a racial issue, as I also have an ethnic background. The brown older lady in the front/cashier has ZERO customer service skills. I walked up to the counter with a smile and said "hello", she looked at me with no smile and says "do you have a membership", I said "no I don't", she rings up my amount gives me my receipt and I say "Thank you pretty loud and nice" and she says nothing at all, just handed me the receipt (almost like get lost). The first time it happened a few months ago, I just said, maybe she's having a bad day, I'll see if it happens again. A few months later, which was today, I went back in and YUP...same thing happened again. If you're the owner of this location and reading this, you should probably have this person pack boxes or stock shelves. I wouldn't put her in the front line cash! I'll take my business elsewhere even if it costs a little more. Plenty of options in Markham, GNC, Popeyes, Bulldog Nutrition and more.
Re: Idiotic customer service I am writing to let you know about an incident yesterday at Healthy Planet, 8567 McCowan Rd, Markham, ON L3P 1W9. As I was checking out late afternoon of Oct. 8, 2025 (Wed.), the person manning the cash register - a brown girl asked me if I am a Senior. At 1st didn't know what she was talking about, asked her to repeat again, and she asked if I am a Senior. Hello, is this person too dense to interact with customers properly? What's worse is that this person is positioned at the front of your store - the face of your brand, the 1st point of contact. If this is the level of "customer service" you find acceptable, then perhaps it's high time to reassess your training practices or who you allow to speak on your behalf. This person is completely ignoramus to the nth degree, I don't even have a single white hair nor a smudge of wrinkles on any part of my body, much less on my face, not even fillers, botox, plastic surgery or whatever you have these days. Completely this person is blind or just being utterly stupid to see. She'd be better suited to tasks that require 0 communication & minimal thought. Backroom or manning the toilet is what best suits her indeed! I'm totally baffled how your recruiting process works, this person looks ways older than me to even suggest I being a Senior! Perhaps you may add eye check-up to your list of candidates to work there!
Birsan was exceptional! She was not just knowledgeable and aware of so many products and results but was honest and genuine when recommending and suggesting these products. She was patient and super helpful. I cannot say enough amazing things about her expertise and assistance! She is a keeper!!!
I am a regular customer at this location and every time I am provided with superb service. Monali recommend me a product for my energy levels and I truly feel more energized. I was also assisted by Urwah who took the time to walk me to each product that I was looking for in the grocery side of the store. Both ladies had helped me with a smile on their faces, amazing customer service!!!
