I believe there is a bunch of stuff as far as rc goes...it's just a mess with no good organization so you're digging to find stuff. I don't even want to comment on trying to find paint. They are jumbled in a shelf...
Cool little hobby store. Well stocked with a variety of parts and hobby stuff for a variety of hobbies - RC car, helicopters, boats, planes, and drones. The owner is quite helpful in getting you what you need.
Made purchase on their website, nothing happened after. They did not respond to my Texts, emails, phone calls, and Facebook messager. A claim was filed via PayPal and PayPal received no respond from them.
Bought a Arrma Typhon 3sBlx Rc car from here and when i brought it home and opened up the box the Product manual and tools and accessories were missing. When i called and asked about this issue i was told they would call back and i still have yet to get an answer.
The owner of AJ Hobbies (Arden) can you provide answers and solutions to your Planes , Drones, Cars, Trucks, pretty much anything fun related with great pricing. AJ Hobbies has been around for a long time. I normally don't write reviews, but I had to for AJ hobbies because I have witnessed how good this Hobby shop has become over that past few years.. from support local tracks such as Phoenix RC Raceway (allowed them to run a parking lot race on July 10, 2017) to being a TTC stop near Vaughan metro center(3 minute walk), and now having a drift track in the back of the store. Great Job Arden!! Keep it up!
As a newbie in the RC world I only had a positive experience with Arden from A&J. My son an I purchased a used rig that needed alot of work from an individual and needed parts and a few answers as we were building. Arden and team had no issues answering those questions and also providing a helping hand with our build. He even went as far to showing a few quick tips that made our "build" successful. Again not even purchasing from A&J the service side was incredible and when ready to purchase a new truck i'll definitely be giving my business to Arden going forward and would suggest you do same if you want to enjoy the hobby.
Love this store. You will pay more for brand names but they will most likely have the item and parts in stock when you need them. they are very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk with.
