Great traditional-style butcher shop tucked into a quaint part of Markham. I always find top quality products from meats and cheeses to oils and pastas, and their staff is always pleasant, friendly and helpful. They have so much including custom-made charcuterie boards, thank you Lucy for your creativity and fast turnaround!
I pretty much exclusively get my chicken from here. It is quite possibly the best chicken I have ever had. Whole chicken, breast, and wings are the ones I’ve tried to date. The breasts in particular are remarkable. So thick, juicy, high quality, and filled with elite flavor. The wings are also the best I’ve ever had. They’re huge and so tasty. Mouth is watering just writing about it…I highly recommend this place. I’ve been happy with everything I’ve purchased.
The staff were so friendly and helpful in providing top customer service. I enjoyed getting their feedback on products and gaining some confidence in choosing different cuts of meats.
Always come here for their meat and eggs. Good quality but the service got worst over the years. There are days I come in it will be just me or myself and another customer and it will be a 10 min wait for someone to help us even though we stood in front of the meat counter. Employees will walk past us. This is on a regular weekdays. Usually on average they have 3-4 employees. This happened several times.
Reeza was responsible for giving me probably one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at a butcher shop. She demonstrated such care and interest in making sure that I was not only looked after but that my meat was packaged well for my long car ride home. It is a very rare situation in this day and age to come across someone who takes such pride in their work. Exemplary personalities like Reeza’s Are one of the many reasons why I choose P&F meats.

This is an amazing butcher shop. It's so great to find meat that is hormone free and sourced locally. I discovered this gem some years ago and it is my go to place for quality meat. There have been recent additions like a sandwich shop - amazing pulled and braised meats! Also bakery items and gourmet cheese, snacks and food are fantastic! For an amazing deal check out their TooGoodToGo offerings! Perfectly good food at fantastic discounts. Lately they haven't offerings on the TooGoodToGo app, but keep a watch for when they come back with some spectacular finds! They go fast though!
