Visited this store Sunday. Felt the staff member was not willing to help. We felt like she was annoyed by our questions. As people who are not designers you would think asking a simple question about different whites would be easy for the employee to answer. Instead we were spoken down to. We will go to the BM store on apple creek instead.
I'd go higher than 5 out of 5 if I could. Aliscia and her staff were great. They are knowledgeable and share the information in an easily understandable language and their recommendations are excellent. They are helpful and while I've been there, I"ve seen their customers coming from a long distance because of their excellent product and service. I"ve had problems at other places with mixing paint colors and here, purchasing many products, they were exactly what I ordered. They also carried the cans of paint to our car. Highest recommendation!!
This is the most kids unfriendly place I have been in a while. I brought my 5 and 7 year old for a pit stop after school as I knew exactly what I needed. The kids were curious about how the paint was made, so the young folk gave them an empty can to keep them occupied. I thought that was a smart move actually, but the senior lady wasn't too pleased and took it away. Then she kept a very close eye on them while I was settling for my bill. She was panicking about anything they touched and assuming they will break everything they touched. We are talking about hardwares like door handles instead of something fragile... I don't know what people expect from a preschooler, but even grownups cannot resist to touch something that's interesting to them. At least I know I won't revisit that store.
