I've been a loyal Mr Sub customer for quite a while now. However, my recent experiences have led me to reconsider. Just the other day, I ordered a meatball sub, but when I got home and opened it up, this is what I found. This is very disappointing, and I'm done driving out of my way to buy from Mr Sub. Contacted them on Facebook and received a phone call months later and an email. Told to download the app and they would add a free sub. No phone call. Emailed back no return email. Called back a few times and nothing. Gave up
Sandwiches tasted like sweat - absolutely disgusting. People in side the store were not wearing a mask, not compliant with 50% capacity limit. Nope nope NOPE
Went on Oct 20, 2020 and an older gentleman behind the counter was working WITHOUT a mask on. A York regional police officer was ordering and doing nothing about this. I feel that in the current situation, this is the height of disrespect to customers. We are required to wear masks to enter but you breath potentially life threatening germs onto all the food and we pay for it? No thanks. I would regularly come here for lunch, I will not be coming back now. I will also be calling corporate to see what their policy is. So dangerous and disrespectful.
My husband and I went there for dinner last night and it smelt like and tasted like someone poured bleach directly on the table we were eating at. When we voiced our concerns and that we could taste while we were eating. Nothing was done. This was a very unpleasant way to eat our sub. Never going there again. The lady and her daughter hat work there are the nicest and friendliest!!!! Just don't like tasting chemicals while I'm eating my food I PAID for.
Cookies are amazing and utilization cheddar. Hwy 7 and Markham location only!!! She is such a gentle soul and her daughter I love coming in when they are working. So pleasant courteous, polite. She needs a promotion!! Wray of sunshine. Good job hiring them. The gentlemen with dark hair is rude and acts like he doesn’t want to help you. Has an attitude and never has cookies he seems to make them only once or twice and if you come in there’s none or hard. He just seems like he doesn’t care. I have been going to this location for 18+ plus years and he has more off days then on. Customer service is everything. I go more frequently now as well as my kids because of her and her daughter they are so polite and take care when making your food. The older gentlemen, possibly the owner as well is a nice guy.
Mr. SUB is great, a much better alternative to Subways, the subs are bigger, the ingredients and overall quality is better and their sub of the day is cheaper!! I can't understand why Mr Sub is not as widespread as subways. There should be two Mr Subs for every Subways.
Fresh food... But- the lady working the counter here (right now) is very crabby. She should be glad to have a job. But she's being quite impatient and rude. The place is empty. This employee is obviously very racist against white people. Her kind of attitude is not ever cool.
