In grade 8.just wanna know if the science and technology are good at this school? Also if there technology is any good?
Class of 2020 sucks. They are the loudest and most obnoxious group of students in the school. Strangely enough, I find that my old school has a more friendly environment than here. All other students are fine. Teachers and staff at this school should be evaluated by the Ministry of Education on a yearly basis. Overall, the curriculum at this school is easier than Bayview Secondary School (from my personal experience), so it shouldn't be a problem for those who transferred from the IB program.
I didn't really enjoy the cafeteria food at all. The people working at the cafeteria are also quite rude to students. They didn't even allow me to purchase a lunch, because I was short of 25 cents. Additionally, the new principal of the school made the atmosphere worse than before. Update: I got into big trouble as a student with the guidance and principal because I skipped only two classes in June.
I only went here for nightschool, but holy hell, coming from a shabby school, it was quite surprising to find out that they had hot water in the washroom faucets. But if you can afford hot water, how can you not afford paper towel? Like ??? And also, the lockers here are minuscule, like you can probably fit a file folder, maybe a very thin canvas, and that's it. Back in my shabby ghetto school, you can probably fit two skinny people inside them, so it was one helluva surprise to see lockers the size of a suitcase. Overall, I can only comment on the environment of the school, which is quite marvelous, but that's to be expected from an art school.
Unionville High School is a good high school with some shopping malls nearby. It's also pretty close to Markville Mall, which is a good place to shop at. But, I heard that the cafeteria food is bad. Other than the cafeteria food, I would recommend Unionville High School.
