I would normally take my knives downtown to sharpen based on their expertise and experience, but saw that there was a knife sharpening store here in Markham! Saves me the time to bring my knives(s) down. Service was friendly with a quick turnaround time and they helped me to fix a banged up tip and general sharpen. Will definitely come back in the future.
Their work is terrible. Asked them to sharpen one of my knifes and frankly i can do a better job. I took it to these guys because I was expecting something more and would have paid more. They are cheap but terrible quality
I got my hairdressing shears sharpened here last month, and waited until I felt I used my shears long enough for an honest review. A month later, and my shears are still so sharp, like brand new. This, the price, and the quick service (30 mins) is why I recommend this place :)
I was recommended to come here. It was not the expectation I receive however. My shears was not polished, I was told from a friend that they should have polished it upon pick up. And I just used them same day as I picked them up and it feels like it is the dullness was as worse than when I dropped it off. It’s an inconvenience for me cause I trusted that I was in good hands. And as a barber these shears cost me 300$+ - and it’s what I cut with everyday and for it not to be cutting properly affects my work. And I live far from them so driving back was an inconvenience to me, the price I paid is the amount of gas or even more.
Joe did an absolutely amazing job. I brought in 5 kamisori hair cutting shears and he had them done so fast and did a better job of repairing them than when I sent them out through kamisori themselves. Definitely going to be back.
I brought my chef's knife and grooming scissors here for sharpening for the first time. Joe provided exceptional service—he was very accommodating and did an amazing job sharpening both items. My knife and scissors are like new! This is the best sharpening service I have ever received.
Took my high end folding knife here to be sharpened and he completely butchered it. He polished the blade without my permission which ruining the original finish and the tip of my drop point looked like someone stabbed concrete with it. However I’m the one to blame for expecting better for $10.
