Pretty poor experience with skate fitting. The young lady who helped us was friendly but did not seem knowledgeable about the fitting process or skates she was showing. She used the measuring tool to take the length of my feet which indicated my regular shoe size. I was very surprised when she brought out boots that turned out to be 1.5 too large, as I figured most people know that skates rarely fit the same as street shoe sizing. Additionally, foot width was never measured. As someone who has a narrow foot and heel, I came for a fitting looking for expertise and advice on how to fit my narrow feet…didn’t get it. Also, I’m not sure if the shop has a more favourable relationship with certain skate brands, but it became apparent that there were a couple specific ones being pushed, despite not fitting properly. In the end, didn’t feel good about the fitting and decided to buy elsewhere which is a shame since this location was the one closest to home that we were hoping to have a long relationship with.
Never seen so many options for skating costumes. Lots of good sales. Wish there was a wider range of larger sizes, but I guess that's not surprising for competitive activewear.
I ordered a pair of high end Figure Skating boots for my daughter and they had advertised 20% off ALL NEW SKATES . We ordered them on Oct 12th. We did not get the 20% off and called to talk to the owner and he is avoiding my calls and email. I talked to the girl and she said oh those boots are the most expensive boot so that one wasn't in the deal . No place on that promotion did it say except for certain boots . When you pay over $1245.00 for a boot with no blades and thought you were getting what they were promoting. It's upsetting. False advertisement is not good for a business . This is what it says on their website . It would be nice to hear from the owner but instead he is avoiding making this right.
I did not have a good experience at this store. Jason ordered me skates and I waited over a year to hear from them. In the end he said the company never filled the order! I then contacted the company who told me I never showed up to the pick up my skates!! This is not true as I was never called and I prepaid for the skates and have never been reimbursed! I am out over 300 dollars and I still do not have my skates! Plus I’m in the hole for the money they never reimbursed! It’s worth knowing I called many times emailed often and still nothing! Tina
Do not order from this company online. I ordered two figure skating dresses. The addressed it to me improperly, so I had to pay UPS an additional $8 to get the dresses to me. They did not respond to my email telling them this happened. I was not asking for the $8 back- just to inform them something was wrong with how they were creating labels. Upon arrival, one dress did not fit. I followed the procedure listed on their website and shipped it back at my expense. I emailed to tell them this was happening. Again, no response. I received word from UPS they refused the return delivery. It will either cost me additional money to attempt to redeliver, which they will likely refuse, or additional money to ship a dress that doesn't fit back to me. I emailed about that. No response. Their voicemail is not set up EITHER so you can't leave a message. There are many better options for online shopping. I will never buy from this store again. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company and filing a complaint against the business to hopefully warn others. **Update- I successfully disputed the charge with my credit card company and the money was refunded. The company did not cooperate with that either.
Dishonest and shady. Ordered 2/17 and did not get any confirmation for shipment until I called 2/21, then miraculously i get an email that said it was shipped and a tracking number. Est delivery was 2/28-3/1. Checked tracking for about a week and it had no info updated, just that label was created and any updates will be posted. Called after a week to see why there was no updates on the tracking #. Spoke with Ameen(?) And she said that the item has been shipped and that the Post was on strike so the tracking wasn't updated. Waited till 3/3 and called them. Again they said it was already shipped, so I contacted the Canada Post and they said the item was never received by the Post. Called them back and after sharing this info with them Ameen now said "Oh the Post never picked it up, I don't know why I will ask my boss" I asked why they can't deliver it to the Post, she says they can't do that. She just kept blaming the post that they did not pick up the package. Just flat out lying that the post should have come picked up the package when the label was created. I dont ship items and even I know even if I have a label u still need to schedule a pickup. Canada post says there was never a pickup scheduled for that tracking number. Also, I just looked on Maps and there is a Post 4min away from them. Shady shady company that spews lies and lies. Calls to them are rarely returned and when they put u on hold ur calls will get dropped.
Same thing happens to me. We paid $500+ for online order, no shipping, no refund, no email response, phone number always unreachable. Terrible customer service! like a scammer!
