Not sure how good of an academy they may be, but their administrative service is horrible. It takes 5 emails over a span of 3-4 weeks to even get a response. They are supposed to provide me a refund as we did not pursue the program (already acknowledged on their end) and magically I cannot get a hold of anyone.
My son’s team recently played against this club in peak summer heat. I was very disappointed with the behavior shown by Prime’s coach. Despite clear signs of heat exhaustion from some players, including my son nearly experiencing heatstroke, there was no show sportsmanship, especially since we were down a player. In these kinds of youth matches (6-7 years old), player safety should come first. I hope this club reconsiders how they handle such extreme conditions in the future.
It is one thing to constantly scream at the kids to push them to do better, it is quite another for some coaches to openly TARGET my child and cut his on field practice time to THREE MINUTES (out of 90), even though my child was going to compete for the team the very next day. The coach did not even try to hide what he was doing. He told my child point blank "I will show up to the match tomorrow just to make sure you don't get to play". There is no room for misinterpreting what he said.
Awesome soccer club! Coaches are knowledgeable, supportive and they genuinely care about the players' growth and development. My son has become more confident on the field and improved a lot since joining. He always looks forward to going to practice and game. Highly recommend this club for anyone wanting to become a better soccer player!
We've had a great experience with Prime FC! The coaches are amazing --- knowledgeable, supportive and truly dedicated to helping the kids improve their skills. They also focus on mentoring and building confidence, which has made a big difference for my son. He's learned so much and always looks forward to practice and games. I wanted to share some feedback about my son’s experience with the Prime FC team. We have been around a few clubs in Markham and landed at Prime FC back in September. As a parent, I’ve been impressed with the way Prime FC has supported his development. I’ve seen a shift in my son's work ethic and attitude toward soccer since joining Prime FC. Since joining Prime FC, I’ve noticed incredible growth in his skills, confidence, and understanding of the game. The coaching staff has done a fantastic job in helping him develop not just technically, but also tactically. He’s become more aware of positioning, teamwork, and options with the ball, which I can see has really made a difference in his play. I appreciate how the coaches mix skill levels during training which elevates the full team’s skillset. One can clearly see the Coaching staff’s experience at any practice, their focus and professionalism sets the tone for the entire club. Coach Netti teaches the boys to have fun with the ball, “relax and enjoy the ball”. I was initially concerned about the insight that the coaches can be harsh, what I see is a disciplined club that focuses on improvement and skill development. You will often find Coach Netti provide positive reinforcement with an applause, a fist bump or a pat on the head. The kids play hard to make him proud. At other clubs I would be engaged and provide sideline coaching to my son and augment practices externally, this is not needed here. Leave the coaching to the skilled staff and we provide the uber support and a hug :) The club has done a great job building team culture where players support each other and are encouraged to give their best. This atmosphere has not only helped my son develop his soccer abilities but has also taught him important life lessons about teamwork, dedication, discipline, and resilience. I wanted to extend a thank you to all the Prime FC coaches. He’s thriving under your guidance, and it’s clear that you care about his development. We’re excited to continue being a part of the Prime FC family!
