Do like the variety of what I get at the basket. My only complaint is the prices...you buy two you get the lower price. If you but only one you pay a higher price for that item. I see this especially in the grocery area. Not too impressed. Went to other competitor in the area. This is not done. Garden basket you want to compete....make it a fair price.
Very comfortable place to shop. Prices a little expensive for produce, but great quality selection of everything. Lots of unique items you can't find at the big corp stores.
Way more competitively priced now compared to a few years ago. The "hot food" selection, while limited, is priced a lot more reasonably than say Longo's. Try the fresh guacamole found on the inside right hand side of the entrance door. Good selection of cheeses. Value in the "cheese ends" that are sold at a great discount. Grab some of the sushi before closing time. Great deals on multi-packs of before the store closes. Always great rolls for fresh bread. They also have hot pasta to go for $3.99. Beat that!!
Great selection of fruit and vegetables. Fairly large organic section. Great selection of healthy processed foods and beverages. Lots of Italian food products. Deli has a great selection and the hot meals are always satisfying. Prices are a little higher than the chain grocery stores but the quality is also better. Parking is provided.
Customer service is horrible. I went to the Express lane and was unloading my items. I asked how many items is Express, she said 10. So I put all my stuff on the belt. She told me I was one item over as she was ringing in the items and told me to move my stuff to another lane. At the time, there was no one in line. Really? Am I not paying for my purchase and will the cash register explode if you just ring in one more item?This is not the first time I have seen this cashier being rude to customers. Most of their cashiers are extremely rude. But this particular cashier is unbelievable.Go to Longos Boxgrove and get some tips from them on how to service your customers. You are an independent grocery chain, you should be able to get customer service right.
