This was my first time going to Still Water. Great experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clearly explained to me before hand. I was very pleased with Sydnie’s design for my tattoo.
I got a moray eel tattooed on my leg by Sydnie, and it is by far my favorite tattoo I have now. It looks absolutely amazing - not only is she very technically skilled, but Sydnie also made sure I was happy with the design, placement, and style and tweaked it to make it exactly how I wanted it. The vibe of the place is also super chill. I live overseas but Still Water Tattoo will be my shop if I ever get tatted in Canada again. UPDATE: it's completely healed now and WOW. It healed perfectly and looks exactly how it did the day I got it! Never had a tattoo heal THAT WELL before. Fantastic job
I just had my first tattoos done here at Still Water 2 weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier. I had 8 fingers tattooed. Christine was amazing to deal with and is so talented. I can’t wait to return a get a name written on my forearms next. Love the atmosphere. Get your tat done here, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently visited Still Water Tattoo in Markham to have my old tattoo, which I hadn’t touched in 20 years, refreshed. I was a bit nervous, given my age and the long gap since my last tattoo, but the experience turned out to be fantastic. The studio was clean, cozy, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Sam was not only professional but also incredibly patient, taking the time to discuss exactly what I wanted and offering helpful suggestions. The work itself was impeccable, my old tattoo looks vibrant and sharp, with details I didn’t even imagine could be improved. Overall, I was thrilled with the outcome and only waited enough time for my tattoo to heal and came back for a second tattoo!
