It’s been 10 years now since I’ve been coming to Kim Dinh. Still my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. The food is amazing, especially their pork chop rice, beef noodle soup, and the curry beef brisket with roti. The staff are very friendly and sweet. Love the atmosphere here, feels like home. Highly recommend.

Good food. Non spicy and tasty. Service was decent too. They seem to cater to their Vietnamese customers more diligently but I dont blame them for the connect. Try their chicken satays with peanut sauce if you can. We liked the pineapple chicken fried rice too. You could avoid the spicy Thai noodles as they were not spicy but rather overly salty. Overall nice place, would recommend

Best pho place around. I’ve been coming here for the past almost 20 years and this place doesn’t compare to any other ones in the vaughan richmond hill markham scarborough areas.

the middle aged chinese lady (with her hair in a pony tail) who's always leisurely standing in the middle of the restaurant was super rude. I usually ask my family to eat at this place because the food isn't bad, but they don't really like it that much. Well, safe to say I won't be asking to eat here again. There was a misunderstanding with the portion sizes when i was ordering on the phone, and when I asked about the small portion - over seven dollars for two medium sized, dry, insanely hard, mediocre tasting roti - the lady continued to argue with me to tell me why I was wrong, and that I was at fault for the misunderstanding. I would have ordered another roti if she just suggested that i do. I would have spent another FOUR DOLLARS for some mediocre sidewalk chewing gum roti. Yet she couldn't help herself and was so excited to make sure I knew I was wrong. Yeah sure, i guess it's my fault you didn't know how to explain basic portioning. Next time just ask if the customer wants to order more. It's really not that hard. I feel bad for the poor younger employee who was trying to de-escalate the situation and was trying to apologize. You did nothing wrong. I'm sorry you have to work with that miserable middle aged woman. TLDR: Rude staff, insanely high prices for super small portions. Honestly super mediocre tasting considering it's in Markham.

Great looking place with a wood finish, the food is good and hits the spot if you’re hungry. The staff is fantastic and happy to help you if you’re undecided. Seating is a bit limited however if you have a spot you don’t feel cornered in. Presentation of the food is spectacular and looks like the photo. I’ll be revisiting to try a different dish.

Wonderful place. Food was gr8. The server "Marie" was quite helpful and explained everything to us. (We only speak English) the service was quick and efficient. Will be back soon

I have been supporting this local for 10+ years. I was shocked to be yelled at over the phone by the owner of the resturant. Her daughters who work at the cashier offered e-transfer in the past as a method of payment. When I called, I ask politely, whether or not they still accept e-tranfer. The owner yelled at me and tried to lecture me by saying what will I do if there is no e-transfer option? How can I pay for food? What can I eat without e-transfer? She was impolite, angry and upset over the phone. Regardless the owner is having a day or not, I do not deserved to be yelled at. She assumed I have no other method of payment. I asked about e-transfer because that was offered to me at my last visit. I am disappointed the way I was treated and vowed to never support this resturant ever again. My family overheard the conversation in the car since it was on bluetooth. They was very shocked and disgusted by the way the owner have yelled at me as well. Good luck to your business Kim Dinh. Update Jun 11th, 2023 - 1:14pm Thank you for your reply Kim Dinh. The issue is not about it wasn't explain to me properly. It was her attitude, choice of words and tone of voice. I'm called politely to place an order and ask about e-transfer. She got upset and said "All you know is e-transfer?" "What am I gonna do, if no e-transfer is available?" "Without e-transfer, you couldn't order food? Then what are you gonna to do?" I'm literally shocked with her response. At first I didn't want to say anything. After the call, I called back to cancel my order because as a customer, I should not be treated in such manner! I live literally few blocks away. If cash and credit card is preferred, I can go grab it. It is not an issue. Why being so rude to your local customer when they trying to support the local business. It makes no sense for me to spend money at the resturant and get treated badly.

Hi, we are very sorry for what happened, the owner didn't explain properly but E-transfer is more like a last resort payment rather than a form of payment. If unable to pay with either cash or card non tap then E-transfer would be accepted. Again we sincerely apologize about what has happen and we thank you for your patronage.
