I called in to talk to customer relationship. And I was refused to be served the guy behind the phone he said his name was Huffy. I asked him for his employee ID he refused. I tried to talk to one of his superiors. He actually hang up the phone on me. It is Absurd, and incompetent for an auto manufacturer to hire incompetent people for customer relationship. I called the second time I got a different person saying the same thing since I asked about Id and name then she went to verify me by my name phone number and address. I would not recommend anyone to buy Hyundai. Crappy cars and no support. They just want to rip you off for something that is warranty they want to charge you. I hope the board of directors read reviews.

Five weeks without a fix for my sole vehicle. Complete random ECM failure with no prior signs. Five weeks of the customer covering costs because Hyundai Canada and the dealership could not locate or manufacture a replacement part for my vehicle. At the end of the 5 week dilemma I was still required to pay a diagnostic fee for a miscommunicated diagnostic, as well as tow my broken vehicle to a specialist shop. No guarantee my 2014 Hyundai could be repaired and to be told an 80,000 km vehicle is scrap is outrageous. All this because the vehicle is greater than 10 years old… even though the part was only ever produced for 3 months then discontinued for supplier bankruptcy. The whole situation seems like one massive recall coverup.

Warning... Terrible engine. high oil consumption. Wish I had not purchased my 2015 Hyundai Sonata. Had my engine replaced on September 16 2021 for oil consumption. Now it needs another engine replacement for oil consumption. In which, Hyundai Canada denied my claim. Even if its due to their horrid GDI engines. I am the original owner. Routine maintenance. Charged me $699.99 before taxes for a oil consumption diagnostic, which proved my engine has a oil consumption issue. Still denied my claim. For an extra slap on the face. Hyundai finally acknowledged their vehicles have a paint peeling issue. They sent me a letter stating to bring your vehicle in for inspection. Most of the paint peeling I had gotten repainted. Except, for one area which is peeling. Hyundai Canada denied this claim as well. Thank god I repaired most of pain peeling. Never again will I be purchasing from this scam company.

I recently leased a 2026 Hyundai Tucson and traded in my 2023 Hyundai Venue. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing due to serious administrative errors. The dealership transferred the ownership of my Venue but had me sign lease paperwork for a 2025 Tucson with an incorrect VIN number. I discovered the mistake myself the following day. Since then, the dealership has not returned my calls or provided a clear timeline for issuing corrected documents. Because of this error, I am still being billed for my previous vehicle and unable to finalize the proper documentation for my new lease. This situation has caused significant inconvenience and stress. I urge Hyundai Canada to review this matter and ensure dealerships maintain accuracy and accountability in their customer transactions.

My experience with Hyundai Canada has been nothing short of a nightmare. My 2023 Palisade suffered a catastrophic engine failure at just over 53,000 km, leaving my family stranded on a highway. Hyundai replaced the short block, but within days the vehicle broke down again, lurching violently, ticking with the RPMs, refusing to accelerate past 20 km/h, and producing no check engine light. It was flat-bedded back to the dealership. Throughout this ordeal, I have had to fight for basic support like a rental vehicle. Promises of escalation to Hyundai Canada have gone nowhere, calls and emails are ignored, and I have been left in limbo. Instead of taking responsibility for repeated failures on a near-new vehicle, Hyundai has dragged their feet and deflected at every turn. Hyundai Canada’s lack of urgency and accountability has destroyed my confidence in the brand. They have spent tens of thousands of dollars on warranty repairs but still cannot provide me with a safe, reliable vehicle. A company that treats its customers this way does not deserve your trust. If you value safety, reliability, and proper customer care, look elsewhere.

Dont buy the extended warranty they lie and pretend that they cant see it in your file when you call. I have never felt so helpless dealing with a brand. Shame on you

Once again Hyundai Grimsby has given outstanding service and gone beyond what l expected. Our friend Zak who just sold me my 2020 Tucson help so much when my husband gave up driving and we took his car to sell. The whole team are really like family. Outstanding customer service. Thank you once again Hyundai Grimsby.
