I used Muavee Makeup Studio for my September wedding and couldn’t be happier with the experience! Milly and Anna were our makeup artists, and they absolutely crushed it. Everyone looked stunning, and the makeup held up perfectly all day and night. The girls were not only on time but also so fun to be around! They brought such great energy to the morning and made getting ready a blast. Highly recommend them for any bridal party!

I discovered Melanie on IG long before I was ever engaged and when the day came, I knew I wanted her as my makeup artist. It was the makeup of my dreams. It stayed in place all night, it was exactly what I wanted - I felt like a true princess all night and my bridesmaids were also done by her, Tasha and Milly. Mel J did some of their hair. Every single person was so so so happy with their glam. I can’t recommend her and her team enough.

As soon as I started planning my wedding, I booked her immediately (over a year in advance). On my wedding day I showed her an inspiration picture, but I told her that I trusted her creative vision and expertise completely and to do what she thinks is best. She ended up creating a look that was even better than I imagined. Mel was punctual, took her time to perfect each look, and was so patient and kind with my mom and sisters as well. Choosing Melanie for my wedding day was a no brainer. Her portfolio is so impressive, not to mention she was able to curate a look for me that suited every element I was looking for; not just typical “bridal makeup”. You won’t be able to find my look on Pinterest ?. She made my wedding look unique and one of a kind. I often think it’s hard for others to do an Asian face with specific features (I asked for a snatched nose, bigger eyes and full lips). Melanie far exceeded my expectations! She is extremely kind, and took the time to make sure everyone was happy with their look. And everyone’s makeup was PERFECT. I also loved her attention to detail to ensure that each person’s makeup needs were curated to fit their makeup personality. For example my mom doesn’t need full coverage and gets hot; Melanie did a light airbrush instead of a full beat. I also recommend a trial, just so you can really envision what your look will be like on the special day. With this experience, I was also able to visit her new makeup studio. It’s intimate, chic and she has every single product you could possibly imagine! Melanie’s knowledge in the industry regarding current looks, product, etc is beyond. Her own namesake products are also such amazing quality. MUAVEE lashes especially were AMAZING. Trust her vision, and you will be so happy with the results!
