I got acrylic nails done for the first time here. When I entered the store, the lady did not even let me ask the question! She straight took me upstairs and made me sit. First red flag was she did not understand a single English word. She started buffing my nails. I was confused whether I want gel nails extensions or acrylic nails ones. She was in so rush that I kept asking and she kept ignoring me. Later she said to do acrylic nails as it was my first time extension. She did nothing on my nails, no cuticle care and nothing. Just did rough buffing and stick the nails to put powder on. She did not even let me choose the design or color until the last moment. The nails were very uneven and the nail paint was poorly done. The size of the nails are not even same for two hands. My right first finger’s nail is too big and tilted. She even ruined the design I told. I was trying to explain her that the nails were uneven through a sign language, but she ignored saying “OK OK”. After multiple times redoing flower design, there was white cast left from the nail paint on the thumb, making the design ugly. She did not even remove it. You can even see in the photos I attached. It was so bad experience for me. No proper replies. No understanding. No care for my nails. After doing the nails, she just put the lotion very quickly and stood up. I felt like she was doing nails for just sake of money, not willingly or no focus. I was very disappointed on each step, even though I kept telling her, there was no improvement. She did not even ask me if I was satisfied or I am feeling any pain. While paying, I told her that I didn’t like how it looks, but she didn’t cared. Huge huge regret going here ? I would like to request a refund. I am not ok wasting my $60+ tax on these ugly nails. All my friends were not satisfied with the shape and design of my nails. I felt so bad. I would literally cry on this experience. It ruined my vacation.
I have been visiting this location for over a year, and Miko is my go-to nail technician. She is the first technician in years who truly listened to my preferences and consistently delivered excellent results. I regularly get gel nails and prefer a thin, natural look, which Miko executes perfectly every time. Beyond her technical skills, Miko is warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, making every visit an enjoyable experience. This salon has become my only choice for nail care, thanks to her. I been here for two times and it became one of my favourite nail spa because I like their work very much. The staff are very patient and great at their job. I have been doing Gel fill and it costs 50$. Also, when one of my finger nail broke, I had to redo it again and it costs 6$. Horrible experience today. Don’t recommend this spa to anyone. They don’t take you at the time of your appointment and waste your time. I mentioned I had an appointment at a specific time and they decided to take a walk in client as they knew the client. Unprofessional staff. Extremely disappointed. Also nobody in the spa looked satisfied with the service.
I’ve been here multiple times because its it used to be a decent place, however quality of service has gone down hill. Shellac chipped on Day 2, pedicure was not great. Felt like they just rushed through the service
Went in for a bio gel refill. The tech was incapable of doing any designs I wanted. Kinda left me doing a plain matte colour. After a couple of days, the quality of the job could be seen. I definitely paid too much here for the job done.
I had dip nails and a pedicure done at this location a week ago. The dip looked ok but was extremely thin - 90% of my nails at the moment are cracked and chipped. I now have to book another appt elsewhere. My nail tech was nice but the job was not done well at all. My pedicure was done within 15 minutes. I was actually shocked, I’ve never received such rushed service. If you want something super quick maybe for a quick fix and don’t care for the longevity of your nails then maybe I would suggest this spot. Other than that, I’ll have to pass.
