I have been coming here for over 10 years and always had a great experience. As usual, I had a wonderful experience at DK Nails. The ladies do a wonderful job on my nails and suggest the best options that are for me. I recommend them to others. TY.
i had my nails taken off here, i left with such badly done nails and she even hurt my nail by grinding the machine too much, coz she was busy talking with another colleague of hers. i also had hands waxing done. she wasnt going to do my fingers bcoz thats not what they include in full hands fax. how ridiculous. she also didnt know what pattern to follow and was leaving big patches of hair. when i mentioned she got so offended. for my legs she didnt give me a towel or change of clothes ,just asked me to take off my pants and lie down. i think they should go to other places to learn the professionalism.
Don’t go here!!! 1st they are disrespectful and no customer service, secondly I got my nails done here and it started to crack and it broke, mind you it hasn’t been 2 weeks yet. Don’t go here!
I had such a wonderful experience at DK Nails Markham , I brought my mom here for a little self-care day, and we both left feeling clean and relaxed. The pedicure was thorough and left our feet looking amazing. The staff was friendly, professional, and made us feel completely at ease from the moment we walked in. My mom hasn’t stopped talking about how much she enjoyed it! We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend
I have been coming here 5+ years. Trying several places (last minute) in bowmanville, no place is satisfying. I would keep coming back here. Great customer service. Great products (long lasting)- It's worth the drive to Markham. Keep up the great work ladies.
alright, so my ma usually comes here as opposed to me (i go to mk instead) but we didn't have the time to drive out, so i agreed to come here since i needed my nails done for my birthday. i got a simple white gel nail set, coffin-shaped, with gems on each ring finger. easy, no? i was pleasantly satisfied afterwards, until she told us it costed $110.00. but whatever, that part's on me for not asking sooner. next day though, a nail broke. gems started falling off. then some more nails. within a week, i had less than two nails on each finger and ALL of my gems had fallen off. obviously, my ma and i were a little upset to see this, seeing as we paid a good amount and it was for my birthday. we couldn't come back to get it fixed asap, as well, because we were celebrating in a different country and the phone bill was not worth it. so we come back to the salon, the next day after our small vacation is over, and we ask the lady who did my nails why this had happened, and she told me i was to blame for not taking care of my nails. okay, this could've been a valid point if the nails were falling after my failure to maintain over time, but this was one day after the application. i also suffer from chronic illness, so labor having ruined my nails was out of the question. i am an unemployed student with my caretakers doing anything that requires physical exertion. my nails hadn't been tampered with in the slightest, and i told her this, but she insisted that i did something to them (with a pretty aggressive undertone). she refuses even partial refunding, or redoing the nails that had fallen, or putting the gems back. she refused everything, so we go to another lady in the same salon, but she had a similar mindset. she says i cannot say that i don't do anything because even eating and showering require me to use my hands, and could have damaged the nails. then, she begins to comment on how small my nail beds are, and how that would impact the quality of my set. why could she not tell me beforehand, before i paid $110.00 and got a full set, that my nails were not fit for this type of process? we're kind of going back and forth and this point, when someone finally agrees to remove them, but not do them again. that's whatever. i sit down with my ma, and let the lady remove my nails. and then i hear the ladies going back and forth, giggling a bit, and i could make out a couple words, and had identified that they were talking about my and my mother's ethnic background. we are south asian. i hear them use the word "indian" repeatedly, while the lady removes my nails, and they are all so amused. i'm sri lankan, lol. i couldn't even fake a story this bad.
I got gel nails,just after 2 days it started chipping off and the nail technician did even do a neat job there was fibers and dust particals stuck in the gel which can be seen even after applying nail pains it was waste of money.
