I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business. From the moment I walked in, it was chaos—no one greeted me, the staff looked annoyed that I even showed up, and the whole salon felt dirty and unorganized. The tools didn’t look properly sanitized, which already made me uncomfortable. My appointment started 30 minutes late, and when the tech finally sat me down, she rushed through everything and was incredibly rough. The manicure looked like a child did it—uneven polish, bubbles, and streaks everywhere. Within two days the polish was already chipping, and my cuticles were sore and red. To make it worse, the staff was rude when I politely pointed out the issues. Instead of fixing anything, they rolled their eyes and told me it “looked fine.” Definitely the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. I would never recommend this salon to anyone—save your time, money, and nails and go literally anywhere else.
This nail salon is beautiful, clean and the ladies are so nice! They listen to what you want or don’t want and make sure everything is perfect before you leave.
Normally when a person has a dissatisfied experience at a business, he or she does not return. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt. The first time I went, they did an okay job. The second time I went, it was worse, the third time I went, the service was the worst. It was rushed and the lady did a very lousy job. Her work was poor, sloppy and rushed. I'm done with this place.
Our experience at this salon was, without a doubt, one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. The service was passable at best, but there were multiple issues that left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. I took my daughter for a manicure, hoping for a fun bonding experience, but the entire visit was overshadowed by unprofessionalism, poor communication, and a lack of care. First, my daughter has some understanding of the language spoken by the staff, though they didn’t realize it. She overheard them making disrespectful comments about us, calling us “poor” because I was asking several questions. It was our first time at this salon, so naturally, I wanted to make sure everything was clear about the services they offered. But instead of being helpful, they seemed annoyed and judgmental, which was extremely uncomfortable. During the manicure, things went from bad to worse. While working on my daughter’s nails, the technician accidentally cut her cuticles too deep, causing them to bleed heavily. To make matters worse, they applied a powder to stop the bleeding that caused her a lot of pain, as it burned her already-sensitive cuticles. Now, her cuticles are bright red, sore, and swollen from the rough treatment, which was distressing to both of us. Additionally, when I initially booked the appointment, I showed them a design my daughter wanted, and they quoted us a certain price. However, once we arrived at the salon, we were informed of a completely different, much higher price. This forced me to cut back on many aspects of the design my daughter had been looking forward to, making the experience even more disappointing. Even though the experience was horrific, I still felt wrong not to tip, so I ended up tipping them anyway. Overall, what we hoped would be a fun and memorable day turned into a frustrating and painful ordeal. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. It was unprofessional, the communication was poor, and the level of care was simply unacceptable. We will not be returning.
Had Mani Pedi and eyelash extensions done here. Eyelash artist was meticulous and every lash was custom to my liking. Classic set is feather light and you barely notice it's there. Mani and pedi were well done. Decided to do an orange French tip to match the summer weather and the color came out beautifully. Would recommend for all services. Thank you Tiffany and the team for their awesome work.
My only go to nail parlor here @ Unionville. Great service and shellac nails are nicely done :) my regular go-to artistes are Mag and Shirley. Tiffany is a great host too!
Update: Mag, Tiffany and the team are so kind. I am now doing gel to help me stop nail biting. The ladies are patient, kind and provide recommendations to my nail biting issues. I can keep my nails for 3-4 weeks which is amazing for me. Thank you!!! Previous: Super friendly and pleasant staff! Clean and comfortable. Joanne did my regular pedi and Nicole did my shellac mani - both were super lovely. Loved the colours they recommended. Could have more colours though!
