I visited this nail salon this morning and had a great experience. The staff were professional, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable throughout. The salon was very clean and well organized. My nails were done with care and precision. I highly recommend this place for excellent service.
I had such a wonderful experience at this nail salon, and I absolutely have to give them 5 stars! I went in for a gel refill, and from the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The shop is clean, bright, and well-organized, which immediately gave me a good impression. The staff are incredibly professional and friendly. My nail technician Joey took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and paid great attention to detail throughout the whole process. She worked very carefully and skillfully, making sure the shape and length were just right, and the gel application was smooth and even. What impressed me most was her patience and precision—she didn’t rush at all, and it really showed in the quality of the final result. The whole experience was very relaxing. I appreciated how gentle she was, and I never felt any discomfort during the process. The products they used also felt high-quality, and my nails turned out absolutely beautiful—shiny, strong, and elegant. I’ve gotten so many compliments already! Overall, this was one of the best nail salon experiences I’ve ever had. It’s clear that the team truly cares about their clients and takes pride in their work. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly and highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for excellent nail services.
I have been a regular to this place from last three years. But off late the experiences have not been the same or rather terrible. I visited them last week for my gel nail refill. It was a hot day and when I sat for my service in Joey’s chair, I asked for some drinking water since I was thirsty. The answer given to me was “LATER”. I was not sure what that meant and I mentioned to the nail tech that I was thirsty and I would appreciate If she could get me some water but she just ignored my request and started the service. I waited for good twenty minutes to see if someone could get me some water but with no response or action, I asked for it again from another nail tech. Additionally, I was injured during the service. The nail tech literally filed my skin off off my pinky finger and was unapologetic about it. I was super rushed during my service and did not even give me a few minutes to pick the nail color I wanted. This is absolute terrible service. Oh not to forget, the place is super noisy with the nail techs talking to each other in the loudest possible voices and high pitch. Not going to this place again! Nail social, you lost a loyal customer due to the blatant disrespect and bad service!!
i was visiting markham from guelph and decided to give Maggie a try. she is the BEST - she’s so precise, so professional and so amazing at listening to your nail needs. i will have to start making the trip to her from now on. my nails have never looked this good!!
I’ve been a regular customer at Nail Social for a while now, and I’ve always supported them, but after my most recent experience, I won’t be returning. While there may have been some miscommunication or mistakes on our end, the way the staff—particularly the ladies working there—chose to handle it was completely unacceptable. They were yelling at me and my group in front of other customers and spoke to us in such a disrespectful manner. To make things worse, when I called their other location, Elite Nail Bar, hoping to clear things up or get some help, I was met with the same rude and dismissive attitude. There’s absolutely no reason for any business to speak to customers that way, no matter the situation. I hope they take this as a chance to reflect and improve how they communicate with people—because what happened was beyond unprofessional.
I made gel nail polish in this salon for my hands and toes and after 3-4 weeks when I removed gel, I noticed that I have onycholysis on my big fingers nails on hands and toes. One of them had speckle of green color, which I realized some kind of mold. I thank God it was not fungus, but be careful with this please. I believe their lamp is very strong, it may damage your nails. Also girl applied a lot of gel, like 6-7 layers. That was crazy also. Now I have to heal my nails for minimum 6 months. Not recommended places for people who care about their health!!!
