Canada's and North America's largest urban park, Rouge National Urban Park is an amazing hidden gem that features natural, cultural, and agricultural landscapes all within 30 minutes of downtown Toronto. The Bob Hunter Memorial area of the park pays tribute to Canadian environmentalist Bob Hunter and is currently the only part of the park where you can hike through both natural heritage areas (e.g. forests and meadows) and agricultural lands. Future park trails will continue to connect the park's amazing natural, cultural, and agricultural heritage.
We go to Taste of the Trail each summer. It's wonderful.
What lovely spot to go for a range of hiking trails. Come prepared for flies and sun and bring water and good shoes as many of the trails are a bit rough. Really great for nice views of the valley.
Been there for a sports day with my wife :) enjoyed a great walk, beautiful weather and amazing nature. Very recommended for those who love to walk and enjoy nature same time
Great nature retreat just north of Toronto..year round fun walking, running and biking. Enjoy paved trails for the most part and fine gravel on other portions. This is an accessible trail and future similiar trails are on the way. Always something nice to see in Rougerock
