Extremely unprofessional and poorly managed clinic. My first visit with Dr. Patel was great, but everything after that was disappointing. They repeatedly reschedule appointments by email with no notice or consent — including my baby’s two-month vaccine, which was moved the day before without a call. Yet they threaten a $50 “missed appointment” fee. When I did come in, I waited close to 2 hours in an overcrowded waiting room with my newborn and got zero updates. My baby was then seen with different male doctor, he was rushed, dismissive, and offered no reassurance or useful information. To make things worse, they later booked my baby’s next vaccine on Thanksgiving Day, and the receptionist didn’t even know if the office would be open. She promised to call back and never did. When I finally got it rescheduled, they changed it again by email — without asking. My husband already booked off work because of this. I was livid receiving that email especially when my husband made arrangements to attend. This office lacks organization, communication, and basic respect for parents’ time. If you value professionalism and patient care, take your child elsewhere.
The doctors at this clinic are excellent — which makes the front desk experience all the more disappointing. The person managing scheduling and communication is consistently unorganized, unreliable, and unprofessional. Appointments are routinely canceled or rescheduled at the last minute, often after time off work or school has already been arranged. It’s beyond frustrating and shows a clear lack of respect for patients’ time. To make matters worse, the same individual handles the clinic’s Google responses — and it shows. The replies to patient reviews are defensive, condescending, and tone-deaf. Instead of showing any empathy or accountability, they double down on excuses and deflect blame. It’s astonishing that a medical office would allow such communication to represent their practice publicly. This clinic deserves better front-line staff — people who understand professionalism, respect, and basic organization. The medical team is being let down by the one person patients interact with first, and it’s leaving a lasting negative impression on what should be a trusted, caring environment.
Dr. Madikiza has been my children’s pediatrician for 18 years, and I have four kids, well teens now:) He is consistently thoughtful, compassionate, and attentive, taking the time to listen and provide the kind of care that makes families feel seen and supported. I’ve also known Farah, the administrator, for over 20 years, and I truly don’t understand the negative reviews. She is one of the kindest and most accommodating people I have ever met. Even during the busiest times, when she has to return calls, she has never once let me down. In urgent situations, she has always worked hard to make sure my kids could be seen quickly, and her calm, professional way of handling things has made an enormous difference to my family. Like any busy clinic, there can be some waiting, but that is because Dr. Madikiza refuses to rush through care. He takes the time to carefully address every concern, complete paperwork when needed, and ensure that nothing is overlooked. That kind of dedication is rare and should be valued, not criticized. Over the years, my children have also seen Dr. Patel, who is excellent, and I have personally seen Dr. Madu, who is equally caring. The entire team has gone above and beyond for us time and again, and I feel fortunate to have them caring for my family. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for not just medical treatment, but genuine, compassionate care from a team that truly puts patients first.
I am truly grateful forDr. Madikiza Pakamile’s attentiveness, patience, and quick response to my daughter's heart murmur issue. On the same day, he helped schedule an appointment with a cardiologist for her. Before our first visit with Dr. Madikiza, we were a bit concerned after reading those negative reviews. However, after two appointments, we found him to be quite responsible. He is a very professional and emotionally stable doctor. I really appreciate his dedication and attentiveness.
I've been attempting to contact the Markham Kids Clinic by phone for the past few days, but unfortunately, my calls have gone unanswered. This lack of responsiveness is concerning, especially for a pediatric clinic where timely communication is crucial. I hope this issue can be addressed promptly.
Dr AGGREY MADIKIZA IS ONE OF THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND UN EDUCATED DOCTOR WITH ZERO TOLERANCE LEVEL. NOT RECOMMEND. Please save your kids from the wrath of Dr Aggrey Madikiza.
Zero star! I and my young kid waited for 1 hour for our scheduled appointment! One hour, even though he was not with any patient and we had urged a few times!
