Don’t ever go to this place. They might offer services at a good price, but they try to get rid of you as quickly as possible. The staff are extremely rude, and they pretend not to speak English to avoid helping customers they assume won’t make a purchase. I don’t understand how they have such a high rating, but I doubt it’s reliable. I truly hope good businesses thrive, but this one is definitely not on my list. Lastly, the owners are not even from Shanghai…
Great place for custom tailoring. Although they specialize in alterations for cheongsam, suits and wedding events, I had recently visited for alterations of my brand name jeans and satin pants. It was important to me to find an experienced and quality focused shop. Their pricing is reasonable, and the shopkeeper is trilingual (speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin). After the first visit, I returned to bring more items for alterations because her hem quality was done well across different types of fabrics. Came to understand that satin requires specialized stitching, and so pleased with her work. Will return. Highly recommend!
I ordered a custom cheongsam for my wedding. I picked up the dress and it was too big, they advised me to come back closer to the wedding and they would alter it. I returned and it was altered in 30 minutes. The dress is good quality, double lined.
NOT a custom or bespoke tailor at all!! You get measured once and that is it. No additional fittings. My partner felt the suit was too loose and wanted it to be more fitted. They laughed at him and basically said no, they won’t be altering it. We paid 100$ for a silk custom shirt, turns out it was polyester and out of a bag. Super baggy, definitely not custom. TERRIBLE customer service. Rude and refused to make alterations or work with us. The jacket bunched up when it was buttoned up, their solution was to not button it……..we ended up taking the suit to get it altered. Not worth the headache to deal with these people.
When I entered the tailor's shop, I was not greeted kindly. The clerk was cold and did not seem interested in my arrival. I tried to explain my needs, but they were impatient, even rude. I was very frustrated because I had expected professional service and help. What was even more frustrating was that when I asked some questions, their answers left me feeling very dissatisfied. Not only did they not offer a clear solution, they were dismissive of my queries. I felt badly treated and it made me very angry.
Great place to get your qipao (Chinese wedding dress) tailored. Great customer service and very detailed workmanship. Will visit this place for future tailoring services.
I required a custom jacket, and their store provided great, professional service. The work was fantastic. Nice smooth fabric and the price is affordable.
