David is honest, straightforward, and always puts your safety and well-being first. He takes the time to explain what is needed, never pushes unnecessary work, and you can tell he really cares about doing things right. Car House was recommended to me a number of yrs ago. I passed their name to others. My husband also became a customer. I have never had an issue . Easy in/out, work done as expected. Everyone has a bad day. Nov 4/25 the owner made sure I had a very bad day. The unprofessional behaviour of the owner , David, over a missing bag of bolts ( their term) needed for a seasonal tire swap could have been handled quickly with dignity and a positive solution. This was the first time of hearing about bolts . Repeatedly I was told to go home & look for them. I take responsibility for my own car but was told “ ask your husband” . Knowing nothing about bolts or missing covers which I determined were Hub Caps I asked for calmness. Ultimately David said he knows my husband ( as a customer ) and that he is 80 and so am I ( we are seniors but not 80) and this is the problem why I don’t understand ! He continued his rant with illustrations of forgetfulness such as putting clothes on hangers and not knowing where you put the hanger. His inference to feeble mindedness was offensive and demeaning . I assured him I was cognizant of what he was struggling to say. With arrogance he insisted I needed to talk to my husband & wanted to know if we even live in the same house ! I will be brief . In my asking for a solution David flailed his arms saying find out who sold you aftermarket rims and ask them! He is not responsible after I go out his door . I was shaken by his behaviour & made to feel very uncomfortable. He certainly didn’t like the suggestion of the remote possibility that perhaps this mysterious bag of bolts (if called Lug Nuts would have made more sense to me) never made it back into my car last Spring. A customer & David’s assistant overheard the entire episode. Once David left she suggested not to take the tires as I wanted but to leave them and return next day . It all been too disturbing for me. I had now seen the nasty & true face of this person. I phoned one of several reputable local competitors who in 3 polite sentences confirmed Lug Nuts certainly can be ordered - no problem. Next day I phoned to say I was picking up my tires. 3 customers overheard my complaint to Jim of rudeness & disrespect . That he had made me feel very uncomfortable . He again used being 80 as my issue to which I replied he may have violated the Human Rights Code & could be sued . The laughable height of his own immaturity and inability to deal with negativity erupted in his pulling a face and sticking out his tongue. I must add he tried a threat - he will phone my husband . What ! Really! Now for sure I won’t be allowed outside to play. Car House is a lucrative business . They won’t miss 2 autos for brake work or tire swaps. They won’t miss accepting our credit cards or cash . For the few that read this post or the reply which never takes responsibility that could follow you may never be harassed as I was. My issue was not with the work or the team. There is one person , the owner, who bad day or not should always set an example of a high standard of conduct in Customer Service. No one should accept anything less.
They replied to my message four hours late and didn’t respond properly. After driving for an hour and letting them know I was on my way — without being told that the item was already sold — I arrived and they behaved rudely. Do not buy from them under any circumstances if your time is valuable, because it’s a total waste of time and you’ll just lose it
Pammy was amazing! I called for an emergency flat tire and she scheduled me in immediately before closing. I will definitely recommend this place to others.
David was very good and explained to me alot about my car and my wife's car. Wish we would've came sooner. If you are looking for a reliable and professional mechanic Car House is the place.
Owner told me that my car and struts was messed up because it had a -2.0 camber on the rear. Thankfully I took it to another shop that knew what they were doing. Turns out that the spec for my rear wheels are actually -2.0. You can also confirm from their replies below that they are indeed arrogant...
Dishonesty, I had already gotten a quote with a price, but when I ask them again if I can repair my car as soon as possible, they just change the price and said: this is the price we gave u, if don't like it, we can't help. Is that just because I didn't speak English to them? lol
