Omid is one of 2-3 key barber professionals in this shop. Comes from a barber family, knows true barber skills including a proper straight razor shave. Can’t speak high enough about his skills. The other that truly stands out is a Spanish (Latin American) female barber that works next to him. She’s also a true professional. Sadly many barbers are not trained right nor have a true foundation of experience. Truly good barbers are hard to find. These two are not what you would expect in a mall, true barber professionals. So mall convince matched with top barbering skills. This is exceptional. Take them away and I wouldn’t go there personally. But if you are like me, and want a real barber experience and cut in Markham. This is your best option providing you can book with one of them.
Today I brought my three sons in for haircuts, but unfortunately, the experience was quite confusing. The price board wasn’t clearly explained, and the receptionist seemed unsure about what was included. I asked specifically if the “student” or “child” pricing included both a wash and a cut, and I was told yes. However, at the end of the appointment, only one of my sons received a wash along with the cut, while the other two only received haircuts. When I asked the stylist, I was told that the student/child price does not include a wash. I checked again with the receptionist, and she admitted she had made a mistake. While I understand mistakes happen, clearer communication and better training for the staff would help avoid this kind of confusion in the future.
I asked for a mid fade, something simple and clean, and left this place looking like I'm about to join the military. Instead of a nice fade, the lady there literally shaved me bald. I get that mistakes happen, but this is way beyond that. I’m not exaggerating when I say this cut is disastrous. Not only did they butcher my hair, but I also paid $40. I feel absolutely scammed and ripped off. I’m definitely not coming back here, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I have been planning on trying this shop for a while but the result was far from great. I got a haircut from someone whose name rhymes with 'Fardin'. It took this person approximately 5 minutes to finish my haircut. When I returned home, I noticed how uneven the cut was. Even the length of my sideburn was off. It was so uneven that I had to trim it myself with a pair of scissors. The wash Fardin gave me after the haircut was laughable as well. The water did not even touch the back of my hair and when I was heading out the mall, I noticed there were hairs all over my shoulders. For your reference, I went to get my haircut in the morning and there was no customer waiting. There was only one other person getting a haircut from another barber who seemed to be giving more attention to the customer. I would suggest to the owner/manager to either get a more responsible employee or have some sort of supervision.
Been a few times… only once have they ever done what I asked them to do… most recently they gave me the worst haircut I’ve ever received… I will not be going back again…
