Amazing cut, polite barber, and nice clean atmosphere. Nothing over the top which is just how I like a local neighbourhood barber. Friendly person and knew what they were doing all the way. Will definitely come back again.
Outstanding!!! I took my son Jack to get his hockey teams logo shaved into his head. The quality of the artistry blew our minds. We've done Duffields Devils and Red Wings logos which are not the simplest undertakings. The barber hit it out of the park with his level of talent. Very reasonable pricing
A very chill, cozy environment; not at all pretentious or intimidating. Mike P. is a very cool cat; we chatted the entire time and gave me an amazing cut. With his sick cutting skills and my post-styling skills, we make a good team. Thanks, Mike :)

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Mike is the BEST barber around!!! I can always schedule and appointment for my son. The shops work hours fit with people who have to work. It is always clean and the music is bumping!!! Best place ever for your hair needs no matter the occasion.
We all know how difficult it is to find comfort in someone who provides grooming services. This is why I’ve followed Michael Porter, owner and barber at the shop barber lounge for over 20 years. His skill set, attention to detail to every unique customer’s hair and customer service can’t be matched. So I was even more thrilled as he settled in my hometown of Markham, Ontario in 2012. Since then he’s educated himself in his trade and is providing even better superior service. Hot towels, face steaming, charcoal masks, just to mention the perks of sitting in his chair. Also, gone are the days of sitting in a barber shop in a cue for hours before finally receiving a haircut. Booking an appointment on the squire app he uses has eradicated the days of losing the entire day to get a haircut. I can book at my convenience and even prepay my service, so on the day of my appointment I park, sit in the chair and leave. I give this place 0/5 stars. My husband went for a haircut and beard trim/cut. Instead of cutting just his beard they cut his FACE as well. He has 3 separate cuts across his face. His hair cut was not what he asked for but that could have been a miscommunication and I can look past it. For the price he paid for the service this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
