I'm really satisfied with my new pre built pc called "The Comet" that I just received today which arrived in 3 days from shipping. Doing benchmarks on it and installing my games and so far impressed with the specs on it. Majority of the parts also matched what was advertised on the pictures with known named brands. Most importantly, ram in todays situation where its expensive I noticed that even though its 6000 mhz ddr5 ram, its also CL 30 which is perfect latency to have so I'm happy with that since it wasn't mentioned on the spec list.
Had my computer serviced by stoneforged twice. New cooling unit, motherboard, plus RAM. Prices were fair. Service was blazing fast. Computer is running much smoother. I couldn’t be happier. I don’t know why I ever bothered with Computers Canada
All the reviews that are 5 stars are fake. I order a 5070Ti and then they cancelled it saying that their "auto cancellation system flagged the purchase as fraudulent." Nothing was wrong with my account and I made sure of that, and when I asked if they would let me reorder the PC for the price that I had purchased it for, they said "it's out of stock." Kinda funny how as they said that to me I was checking their website the entire time, before and after, and they had it in stock. (Aka the one they cancelled) Not only do they put up great sales which are completely fake, but they are extremely rude and sketchy when it comes to cancelling your order out of the blue. Do anything you can to avoid these guys as they don't appreciate their customers and don't stick to their word for the prices they put up on their website. TLDR: They lie about their sales, stock, and will cancel days later without any sort of regard for your life.
horrible customer service. I purchased a 5000$ pc for them (january 2023) and out of the box it started blue screening. I tried reaching out via there Contact Us form and calling their support number with no response
horrible customer service. Over 4 weeks of waiting order was never sent DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR MONEY to respond to stoneforge, you told me over a week ago my order was ready and you just never sent it. so what statement is a lie? its ready or its on back order it cant be both liar.
Bought one of their prebuilt computers 2 years ago and it's still going strong. The arrival of the pc was well packaged and no damage or lose wires. Very minimal bloatware. The prices are very reasonable and the support I have gotten since is superb. The answers and guidance from their chat team and phone calls were spot on. I look forward to my next upgrade which will be through them.
EDIT: They replied under my review saying they didn’t sell any prebuilts with a 1050 ti, which they in fact did. It was called Katar, on their website. They lied to save their behind, which is scummy as I have the receipts. Lying is a horrible business practice Horrible experience, I bought a pc from these guys a while ago. The prices were horrible for what I got. A 1050 ti and a horrible cpu for 1500$ around. It was highway robbery I barely got to upgrade my pc just now to a 4060 prebuilt from Newegg for a lesser price. I genuinely wish I didn’t spend the money I did from stoneforged
