Just give my money back!!! I need to take a big sigh before I write this. I feel that our whole summer has been wasted due to their "tactic" of keeping you in the loop while never listen to your real needs! One of our big summer goal is to have our dog trained, with the kids at home we have plenty of time and fun to fit dog training classes into summer. I signed up in the very beginning of August. They asked me to pay first to "secure" my spot, I did, yet the earliest class was Aug 12th. We waited 2 weeks and right before class they told us to change class time, which I couldn't due to time conflict. Then without notice they postponed my class to Aug 19th, so we waited 3 weeks, only to hear that they postpone it further to Sep 9th! We will be very busy in September, I told them again and again, yet they show no sympathy, no feelings. I asked to sit in a current class, they just rejected me. So I decide to change to Tuesday class, though evening time is pretty late for our kids. Then they told me Aug 29th is the earliest time. Finally after 4.5 weeks I am ready to go to class with my kids and dog, and asked them what to bring to class, they told me last minute class is again postponed to September 5th! Boom!! These guys just want your money, they never really listen to you! Now I requested a refund, I sent 3 emails yet received no reply. NO REFUND! How then could I get my money back? Not to mention the whole summer wasted, with all the time loss and emotional strains. Do I need to find a lawyer for this??? I just wish to tell people here that- try your best to avoid this business, find some other dog trainers and there are tons of them!

Took my puppy here for training. Very pleased with the ease of getting him in for classes and how they offer training. Scott was the class trainer and he was excellent.

I had enrolled my dog into their manners 2 class and after the the first week of class, I unfortunately caught covid. I sent an email asking if it would be possible to switch to another session as we would be missing a good chunk of classes in order to ensure I was covid free. If moving my dog and I to another session wasn't an option for them financially, I can understand as business is business. Rather than emailing or giving me a call to explain that this wasn't possible, they instead chose to ignore my email entirely. Suffice to say I will not be bringing my dog back here.

Online training with Lucinda offers benefits to owners who are willing to put in the work. Beyond real-time videoconferencing classes, Lucinda provides invaluable detailed written information via email communication and targeted tipsheets about certain behaviours. I speak from personal experience. My puppy Mini was acquired during the pandemic, long past her sensitive socialization period. With repeated stay-home orders, the only training that I have been able to rely on are Lucinda's tipsheets which have proven their worth repeatedly. For example, Lucinda's "Housetraining for Success" has ensured that I have a potty trained dog - a Chihuahua, nonetheless! From reading this piece, I knew to have realistic expectations for Mini because Lucinda had noted smaller breed dogs often take longer to housebreak. When I first got Mini, her breeder indicated that Mini might be reactive because of the lack of socialization from the pandemic. While Mini had never shown that inclination towards her breeder or my family, I wanted to prevent any undesired behaviours from developing. What helped me start this process was Lucinda's "Those Mouthy Puppies" tipsheet and her online videos featuring bite inhibition training. Thanks to this online training, I having a wonderful puppy who I can safely play tug games with. Further, attending classes at Canine Campus with my previous dogs have helped me work with Mini on her leash walking skills. Because I never delete any emails, I simply referred to the homework from past Manners level classes. I read, and re-read these pieces before working with Mini. For a puppy who came to me at 9 months old, she heels and walks on a loose leash. We are currently working on fading her treats for some of her cues as well. Lucinda designs curricula aiming to set dogs up for success in any training environment - both physical and virtual. Because of the online training, I am confident that Mini and myself have had sufficient practice of skills that will be easily transferred once it is safe for in-person classes to resume. Thanks, Lucinda!

Puppy/ dog training is best handled but the professionals at this training center, great lessons, tip and tricks to deal with issues you may be having with your dog and great paced classes to help your dog learn

I took the puppy kindergarten class with Lucinda she was a great teacher she shows in great detail how to do what you are learning and demonstrates with ether her dog or a class members dog then makes sure the owners is doing it properly she also will answer all questions you may have for her my puppy molly absolutely loved going to class every week we are now taking the manners 1 class with Lexi and she is equally as great as Lucinda I appreciate the attention they give at canine campus

My at the time 10 month old Border Collie Jack Russell rescue dog attended the manners 1 course in October and all I can say is what a total waste of money. My dog was better behaved before attending this class. We watched a class that one of the assistance taught to get a feel of what the course would be like an this assistant seemed amazing (I forgot her name, my apologies) however we were "taught" by Lucinda. She was such a disappointment to my dog and I. We originally were in a Monday class but there was no point continuing that class as all the dogs did was bark. Oliver was singled out for barking when he was not the only one barking. I wanted a refund but she manipulated my mom into switching classes promising results. We basically paid a ton of money for Lucinda to train her own papillon and single out Oliver. They train behaviors like touch my hand and they focus on social interactions but my dog had some leash reactivity issues that was addressed before signing up for this class and never did Lucinda offer us any suggestions other than loose leash, like that's a real good suggestion for a dog that's always pulling (another issue mentioned prior to signing up). He was basically bullied in his class by the Instructor. As well as they hype up doing agility at the end of every class but this only happened 4 of the 6 classes. When doing agility, something a dog like mine thrives he, he was always made to go last. He did not learn a single thing from this class and I actually have taught him more from YouTube after completing this class. Save your money and avoid this "class" at all costs.

I am so sorry Brian and we will absolutely revisit this! In light of COVID, we often do make exceptions on the policy of no transfers after the start date!

I'm so very sorry that you did not find the class helpful and apologize that it didn't go well and that you didn't like my training style. I only use my dog to demonstrate in order to help show how the desired cue looks when fully learned. I wasn't training him, as he was demonstrated cues he had already learned to help owners visualize what they're looking for.
