This is my go-to barber shop in Markham. I always get my hair cut here because the staff is so welcoming and skilled. Leo does an amazing job every single time. I’m always happy with his service. If you're looking for a hair cut in Markham, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!
The girl that cut my hair was obviously extremely amateur and cannot cut hair, just trying to hustle. Leo can cut abit better but just as bad. They have a little racial tone to you if your not asian, they kept trying to make us upgrade for a wash first when i washed at home already. After the cut they pressured me to tip more than what i offered. I won't be coming back here again. Any families out here, if your looking for a simple haircut then this is for you. Extra points if your family is asian. Other than that stay away from this place. Wouldn't be suprised if it was going to shut down soon.
Amazing service and a very clean, relaxing environment. The stylist really listened to what I wanted and gave great professional advice. I absolutely love my new hairstyle and will definitely be coming back!
Extremely disappointing experience. We called earlier in the morning to book an appointment for my husband and our 13-month-old baby at 1:30 pm, and the owner gladly accepted the reservation. We planned our entire afternoon around this appointment. We arrived exactly at 1:30, only to find a lineup. No apology, no explanation. We waited until 1:52 pm before being seen. By that point, our baby was understandably getting fussy after waiting so long, so we asked if his haircut could be done first. Instead, the barber told us we should put the baby down for a nap first before they would cut his hair, this is something that was never mentioned when we booked. Right after saying that, he started cutting another customer’s hair instead of honoring our reservation. At that point, we left. This salon clearly does not respect customers’ time, does not honor reservations, and gives no heads-up about their “rules” for baby haircuts. If you only cut hair for sleeping babies, that should be clearly communicated before accepting a booking, not after making a family wait 25 minutes. Very upsetting experience. We will never return and would never recommend this place, especially to families with young children.
Leo cuts me and my sons hair, always does it well and fast. Been going here for a few months now and never had anything to complain about, overall great guy.
The worse hair salon that I experienced. This morning I took my son to this salon and asked and showed a model picture that my son selected. She didn’t speak English and I asked the owner to translate. She was not able to use a scissor and always used a machine. At the end I can tell you what she made. Oh my God. My son start crying. To me she was a carpenter rather than a barber. For the privacy reasons I don’t want to put the picture of my son’s hair to see what was ordered. I wanted to have a hair cut but what when I saw what she did, I immediately changed my decision. I will never go to this salon again and don’t recommend others.
I went from very long hair to a medium-length cut, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! The stylist really listened to what I wanted and gave me a fresh, beautiful look that’s easy to manage. I’m so satisfied with the experience and will definitely be coming back!
