I’ve been with Vincent before he worked at this salon and I have nothing but the most respect and high praise for him. I have naturally wavy hair (which isn’t typical for Asians) and am introverted. As a result I’ve been treated poorly at so many salons. He was the first person who didn’t look at my hair with annoyance (it seems that me being introverted, people seem to show their feelings to you when you don’t carry a conversation with them - often times this results in them being annoyed with my wavy hair, being rough with brushing and cutting my hair with less attention). He takes a lot of care in the work that he does and never have I ever felt insecure about my wavy hair with him. For instance, he cuts my hair, straightens it and often checks and cuts again for strays! It’s so clear to me that he takes a lot of pride in his work. I’ve moved away, but continue to make the drive to see him. Thank you for your care and hard work- you’ve made it a safe space for me to keep coming back to!
Vincent is confident naturally, professional, and skillful at cutting my very coarse, thick, and curly hair. I feel I should give credit! He is amazing, and I am grateful to find him and trust him for my hairstyle.
Made an appointment a week in advance at Noir, and when I arrived right on time, I could see that the stylist was already preoccupied with a customer. No worries, I can wait. Then another customer came in for a hair coloring, and they were seated immediately while I was told to wait more. In total, I must've waited over 40 minutes past my original scheduled time. At that point, I got up and asked the stylist how much longer I'd have to wait, and that was when he finally sat me down and began my haircut. It's quite evident that Noir needs at least one other assistant to service the customers. The service was decent, but the cut was quite terrible. I will be going to a different stylist in the future.
Been going here for over 2 years. Owner knows his stuff and how to style or cut your hair to your head and hair. Great communication and he's good at what he does.
Came here for a long overdue haircut with lots of breakage. Vincent did a wonderful job cutting my thick overgrown hair without losing too much length and healthy layers. You can tell he's done this professionally for many years. My wash and cut took no more than 1hr. Highly recommended!
I asked to go a shade lighter because my hair was dark brown and the guy bleached my whole head and made it yellow. My scalp was burning and I had to pay $330. Worst place ever.
Came here for a haircut/perm and was blown away by the quality of service I received. Powah, was very informative and thorough through out the whole process. I told him what hairstyle I wanted to achieve and he definitely delivered. 5/5 H ighly recommended! Be sure to book in advance! His books are always full if you don’t!
