Japanese Express is my go-to spot for affordable and delicious sushi! They have so many options to choose from, which makes it perfect for everyone’s taste. It’s also an excellent place to order takeout for large gatherings!! The portions are generous, fresh, and always a hit with guests. Highly recommend!
Japanese Express is hands down our family’s favorite spot! Their food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. My kids will only eat sushi from here and it is their number one choice every time. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick, which makes the experience even better. They also have a wide variety of hot food that is just as tasty as their sushi, so there is something for everyone. Every time we visit P Mall, it has become a ritual for our family to stop by Japanese Express for a meal or snack. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality food and great service!
great customer service honestly. We went to the onigiri shop right near them and they wouldn’t give us soy sauce after we purchased items from them. We went to this place and the worker was so sweet. will definitely purchase from them next time just because they were nice.
Solid place for sushi and Korean food! Reasonable prices. I like the buzzer so I can walk around while my food is being prepped. Staff is superb as well, they don’t rush you.
Japanese Express: Disappointing Changes in Quality and Value Japanese Express used to be my go-to spot for delicious, affordable Japanese cuisine, but unfortunately, it’s not the same anymore. The prices have noticeably gone up, which would be fine if the food quality matched the increase—but it doesn’t. The flavors that used to be rich and satisfying now feel bland and inconsistent. Portions seem smaller, and the freshness of the ingredients isn’t as impressive as it once was. It’s disappointing to see a place I once loved lose its charm. While I understand that rising costs might lead to price adjustments, there’s no excuse for compromising on quality. Sadly, Japanese Express no longer feels worth the price. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and make improvements because it would be great to see this spot regain its former glory.
Love the sashimi donburi at this place ! One of the best in Markham . The ingredients are fresh and portion is just perfect ! The new owner definitely brings better quality of food to this place !
They've been an anchor of Pacific Malls food court for years. I really enjoyed my meal which was the bulgogi beef with rice, salad, and miso soup on the side. The meal was flavorful and was fresh. The customer service was also great. The lady working was a sweetheart. Overall, I'm glad they're still open during this pandemic and am excited to eat again.
