Food is always good. But recently they added some non English speaking staff at the ordering counter. If they don't want to speak English then don't come here. SIMPLE
A nice little place nestled inside of the Asian store. I ordered the tempura udon and it was probably the best udon I've had, the tempura shrimp were very large and also very tasty. Overall a nice little place to go with a friend or two and enjoy some good food and talk.
This is a basic no frills restaurant. Ordered the tempura udon, comes with two inari sushi. The food was good, came out pretty quick. The seating is very limited. The prices are ok, but you need to return your empty plates and bowls to the back on your own. They need to clean the table after each customer.
They keep it simple, as it should be. Lots of the ramen restaurants go way too over the top, and come up with weird toppings then punch you in the face with their broth. Why can't we just keep it 100. Back to the non-overly complicated days. Think of this as the early days of Nvidia, before they forgot who they are with all the AI nonsense, when it was "the way it's mean to be played". Niwatei, Japanese food, the way it's meant to be enjoyed.
We got the katsu curry, tempura udon, and pork bone ramen. Everything was delicious. Especially the pork bone ramen. Three people ate for 50 dollars tax and tip included. Can’t complain. Thanks for the delicious lunch!
Every time when we shop at the store, we always eat here, good food and good service as always! It is unfair people give them a low rate and negative comments, maybe they have theirs own unique expectations? Probably they want to pay food court price and got the 5 star restaurant treatment, that I don't know. The reason now I never trust those comments to determine the place I wanted to go for food or shop!
It was just ok… - Our order was wrong. we asked for cold soba but the order was punched in as cold udon, and we didn’t realize until we got the food. Oh well - I found hair in my curry. Oh well - Water smells like old tap water, as does the cold udon (I’m guessing the udon was washed in it)
