My friend recommended this neighbourhood korean restaurant for dinner, and i thought I would check it out. The place is decent size. Not many diners were there when we visited. I ordered the pork bone soup as per usual as that is the one dish I use to determine if I will go back again. I am happy to say that the soup was quite good. The only part about the business that I wish would be good also is the service. After serving us the food, they pretty much ignored us. I hope one day this will change.
My newest favorite korean spot in markham ! I have been to the Scarborough location which is also great so above all both are really good! I ordered jajangmyeon and kimchi fried rice and before you know it i devoured it all without taking any pictures but believe me when I say the dishes were delicious AND the side dishes were really good especially the kimchi ♥️
It has been a long while since we came here. Order both Seafood and Beef Soon Tofu. Both as tasty and serve bubbling hot. When ask to top out certain BanChan, to my surprise all BanChan were refilled. That fills up our stomach and thanks for the great meal️
Dduk Bulgogi: - Soup is mildly sweet - Bulgogi was quite tough - Comes with plain white rice, not purple rice (usually in Korean restaurants) - Refill of side dishes
Weekend visit. Service is good but the food is less than mediocre- complete salt overdose and no authentic Korean flavours. Must have been a bad weekend… but didnt seem busy at all. Even owl is better and that’s saying something.
We went in around 4:30pm. The menu is quite diverse with lots of soups, grilled options and snack options too. The service is very accommodating to us as well. the food is def the best korean food i’ve had in markham ! I recommend the mandu :) very good experience!
We ordered the cold noodles and left the majority in the bowl, not the best dish. Can be removed. The short ribs were great. Sides were great. The rice cakes had this weird fake cheese on it that gave the dish a weird aftertaste. Not for me.
