I’ve recently been working with Jeff to discover the right shafts in order to maximize my golfing potential. I’ve been fit for a new driver shaft, fairway wood shafts, hybrid shaft, and new wedges with custom shafts. We’re currently testing various iron shafts. Jeff is a very experienced, highly knowledgeable and skilled fitter who is committed to finding the right equipment for your game. I’ve been playing for over 40 years and throughout that time I’ve worked with a number of fitters. I can assure you, Jeff is second to none. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and I’d highly recommend Jeff to anyone who’s serious about getting the most out of their game. You won’t be disappointed.
I've done multiple club fittings with Jeff Shuster (everything but wedges). I went to Jeff after I was dissatisfied with the fitting experience at another major club fitter. The experience with Jeff keeps me going back, and I am always supremely satisfied with the clubs that I've bought from them. I've always discussed budget candidly and there's no upsell pressure for gear outside of my price range, or pressure to buy clubs on the spot. Jeff is extremely experienced and professional, and it shows during the fitting process. Jeff and his team have gone above and beyond for all of my needs including handling a manufacturer warranty return for a defective club head. From the moment I walked up to the range at the iconic Angus Glen, my fitting experience far exceeded what i was anticipating. I was about a half hour early for my appointment but was pleasantly greeted by Jeff and Ryan who quickly asked if I'd like to hit some balls and warm up! I have had a couple of indoor fittings before 1 at Golftown in Woodbridge which was terrible...and a good fitting at Doghouse Golf in Barrie which was great. That was only a year ago ...but in the meantime I've had elbow surgery which requires me to lean towards graphite shafts. The outdoor fitting with the Trackman is second to none because you are able to actually see your ball flight as well as get accurate data in order to tweak club/shaft recommendations that will suit you best. It was nice before the fitting because Jeff asked if there were any club/ shaft combinations that i was interested in trying and had them ready to try right away! I was given ample breaks as you do hit quite a few shots in a proper fitting! Ryan and Jeff made me feel so comfortable during the fitting that I felt absolutely no pressure to try and hit perfect shots or anything like that. In the end, I ended up being fit into a combination that I did even imagine before arriving. The new Srixon zxi5 irons with Fujikura Axiom shafts. It was the best fitting hands down and recommended anyone in the market for new clubs to contact Jeff because you won't be disappointed!
WOW!!! I have been fitted for clubs for many years, but this was by-far the best experience ever. The time and effort that Matt and Jeff spent with me was fantastic. They had me try so many clubs until we agreed on which putter was best suited for me. After receiving my putter, I rolled a number of putts, and it feels amazing. Thanks again.
Jeff has taught myself and others at Humber College over the past 2 years. He has greatly advanced my knowledge, from my basic understanding of gripping clubs to re-shafting at my course, to now being able to built clubs to spec, and utilizing our workshop at the Humber Golf Lab to utilize swing weight, bending lie/loft, and frequency matching Jeff is very knowledgeable on everything on club building and club fitting, and is a great and patient teacher with the best knowledge on club building and fitting in the game.
