A little place in Langham Square if you crave Japanese food. It's mostly a takeout place with a little corner where you can squeeze in and sit to eat. The food itself was good. The fish were fresh. Most pieces were common fish. The size of the dishes were not that big. I ordered the salmon and ikura don while my friend ordered the chirashi don. Both were OK. I would go back if nearby. But likely try other sushi places first where it's dine in.
Great quality tasting fish! Had their otoro special and chirashi don weekly special. I cannot say it’s the best I’ve had for the price, but would certainly recommend if you want some quality sushi and don’t want to pay super premium prices.
The pressed, torched sushi was great. I took off all the jalapenos though. It was a bit much. I've been to another sushi place that used jalapenos but in much smaller quantities so it actually worked well as a complementary but not overwhelming flavour. edit: went here again recently and the torched salmon dragon roll was just okay. Also, the avocado rolls were tiny, especially for the price.
1st time here and came with my 13-year old daughter as she loves sushi. Service was excellent - more of a take out spot with very minimal dining area seating. We took it to go and bought one of their featured combo platters to share and ate at a park behind the restaurant. Sushi was excellent, only downsides were the pink ginger, we prefer yellow, and the artificial flavoured soy sauce, wasabi was great though. Lots of cool fresh and frozen options to buy in store, as well.
This place provides quality ingredients without being overpriced. I suppose having no dine in allows them to control cost so you are paying for the food not the rent.
A cute, quaint sushi shop with poke bowls to match. Atmosphere is pleasant. Venue is small, but perfect for 2-3 people. High quality presentation of dishes (the plates are so cute!), and detailed menus!
I saw this restaurant via Uber eat and decided to try....omg I would say stay away ordering Negitoro Don it's super fishy smelly taste the minute I opened the lid.....it's so bad that after first bite I had to throw it away the description says grand toro meat....I never taste such kind of toro fish tasted this terrible it taste like rotten fishy meat ..please look at the pic....the color isnt looking right either ...overall it's very bad experience I would not order from this place again !!
