This place does not even deserve one star. I spend over a few thousand dollars at this clinic previously. Words cannot even describe how broken I am. On Sept 26 , I went to Mount Joy Animal because my dog Kingsley could not breathe and was making choking sounds. I told the reception my dog cannot breathe and he was pooing on me. The reception had no sense of urgency and making jokes and laughing with her other customer and coworkers while my dog is dying in my arms. She said I had to pay an extra fee because I didnt make an appointment or I can wait one hour . I said I will pay . At the moment I just wanted my dog to be seen by a Doctor. She just went on and did her own things and didnt even care about my dying dog. She didnt even bother going in to let a doctor know that I had an emergency!!!!!!! After waiting 10 min, I could no longer sit and wait for my dog to die. I left to go to another vet clinic which is a 25 min drive. By the time I got there, the doctor rushed him inside to do CPR but Kingsley had unfortunately passed away. I dont understand how someone who works at a veterinarian clinic could be so cold blooded, so cruel and with absolutely NO passion towards animals. This is a very sad and devastating experience and I hope people will know never to come here because they do not care about your DYING pets. My dog was like my family, and as a result of her negligence, I am never able to see him again. For all of us animal lovers out there, think twice about bringing your pets here. I hope the owners can hire more compassionate and professional workers. I do not hope anyone else had to go thru the same horrible and heart breaking experience as me.
Dr. Trann is absolutely amazing with my puppy, she's super knowledgeable, caring and is always willing to answer your questions.This clinic doesn't do any unnecessary or unwanted testing and isn't pushy with their clients in any way.Would recommend this vet to anyone!
This clinic is superb. I think I have been bring all my pets to this clinic for over 20 years. Even though she moved, then I moved, I travel and make the time to see her for all my animal care needs. She has seen me through highs with new additions to my family and help me say good bye to long time companions. Her staff are exceptional and long term so that says a lot about a business when employees stick around. I have no problems referring this clinic if anyone asks me. Caring compassionate and wonderful. Thank you for everything and years of great service.
