An Excellent place filled with animal loving staff who are well equipped and knowledgeable when it come to caring for and treating all of your furry family members. Been coming here for over 8yrs and we have nothing but glowing reviews of this clinic. We've had regular visits with Dr. Redford and Dr. Wallani who have both set the bar at such a high level that we couldn't ever think of going elsewhere when it comes to the well being of our dog. I found a badly injured bunny on my front lawn and Wellington Veterinary Hospital took it in and cared for it. The staff were incredibly kind and compassionate! They even offered to provide an update on the bunny's progress!
After purchasing the same urinary tract maintenance food from this vet for the past four years I was told today that I could no longer purchase this food until I brought my pet in for $150 check up. After calling and speaking to six other veterinary clinics I was told I don't even need a prescription to purchase this food because it's for maintenance reasons. I wanted to make everybody else aware of the underhanded business practices involved with this. Be aware and do your research before using any vet.
I seen a lot of bad reviews and had to add my personal experience- which actually was not horrible..I went home after work to find my 4 month old kitten in agony with a swollen eye she was holding shut- i started with the Toronto emergency vet- they wanted $175 just to see her..Wellington did not ask that much of me- in fact i rushed my fur baby to wellington- He saw her within minutes- took care of her problem as she had scratched her cornea- everyone in the reviews is talking about it being a money grab- he charged me for a regular appointment instead of an emergency appointment despite the fact it was 100% emergency- specially in my eyes. I went for a check up a week or so- my cats eye was healed and i was an extremely happy mamma
I've been taking my dogs here for the past year and in comparison to what we experienced over the course of the past 15 years of vet visits, my dogs and I agree they are our favourite! Not only do they provide excellent care for a competitive price, but they really do seem to love my dogs as much as I do! Taking care of older pets can be expensive and I know they have gone out of their way to save me money whenever possible without sacrificing care. When my more senior dog Honey recently passed away, they sent the most touching card with individual notes from each person in the clinic that really reflected their love for Honey and support for me. I highly recommend Dr. Cliff and his team!
