Happened to be in the area, first time coming. Tea and tapioca qualities are standard. However, I find their counter dirty compare to other bbt shops. I personally think they are just lazy to clean it.
Staff is not that friendly or welcoming, drinks are always inconsistent, stingy with the birthday drink as well (this is the only location that makes you pay for toppings in your free birthday drink), and they charged me full price for the new pink guava drinks during their 20% off promotion
I'll start off by writing that the Alley is one of my usual bbt chain places but this location for some reason just isn't consistent. Whether the service or the tapioca itself. I love that the tapioca is made fresh. I guess with that comes inconsistency depending on the staff preparing the tapioca. Depending on the staff, you might receive a friendly hello and pleasant interaction during your visit or you receive a cold shoulder. When the drink is made good and the service is friendly it's a 5 star. Sadly, more often than not (lately) the service has been 3 stars and the drinks 3/4 stars.
Nice ambiance, great bbt and very friendly staff. Got the Deerioca Fever, peach oolong, lime honey with aloe and the seasonal strawberry matcha. Would recommend!
spent $8+ on a cup of brown sugar bubble tea, and it was awful. The pearls were so hard they felt like stones, definitely old and overcooked. The bubble must be sitting around for a while, Not only that, but I ended up with an upset stomach and diarrhea after drinking it. Absolutely disappointing, and I will never return!
Watery sad drink. I don’t know what they’re using but it’s very odd tasting. No tea flavour and not really any sugar flavour either, just tasted like water. Couldn’t even taste the milk in it
They NEVER have deerioca. Went today and for the 5th time in a row was told they dont have deerioca. As much as I do love the drink its a complete waste of time even trying to get it here at this location. I persistantly kept going back hoping for any sign of improvement until today I finally gave up hope. Might as well just take Deerioca off the menu at this point
