This music school is organized very smoothly and we’ve been with a few during our three kids music learning journey. Our family has brought several of our kids here over the past four years. Most of the teachers have been wonderful, and the administration responds quickly whenever we reach out. Since the school moved to its current street-front location, it has become even easier to get to than before. I have been taking lessons with Kyle since November 2023. I have learned so much from him and I am very thankful! Kyle has taught me how to read drum notation, set up the drum kit, replace drum heads, and tune the instrument. He has a deep knowledge of drumming and equipment, and he is always willing to share advice and support. Kyle is an outstanding drum teacher and a skilled drummer. He explains difficult ideas in simple steps, which allows me to improve at my own pace. His teaching method is engaging, personalized, and makes every lesson both enjoyable and productive.
After working with Ms. Wu for the past 12 months, my son gained so much confidence in his flute playing! Ms. Wu is very patient in each lesson and making sure he is doing everything correctly before going home. Would definitely recommend Hanway Music if you’re looking for Flute lessons in Markham!

Our daughter has been with Hanway for more than 2 years now. This is a family owned business. We have changed of a number of teachers in the early year, due to unforeseen circumstances out of Hanway's control. But, the teachers we have had were all great. The current teacher is fantastic. She is passionate about her teaching and the student's learning. She is very encouraging and a true music teacher. My daughter enjoys her time with her. My daughter has developed better liking to learning the piano because of this teacher. Hanway is flexible and accommodating to the students' needs. They have just moved to a new place iin Markham. You should try it out. So glad we found Hanway.
