International Music Academy is the perfect place to start the musical journey. The teachers are the masters in their respective fields like various instruments or vocals.They help the students to learn and perform on stage through summer and winter concerts. Every kid gets encouraged to excel receiving the progress reports and trophies on their performance. The staffs are very friendly and cooperative . I really appreciate Ayodhya for her collaborative efforts and friendly nature.
My kids are going to International Music Academy and I have very nice experience in Markham location with very professional teachers Antonia de Wolfe, I strongly recommend her for young students.
I recommend IMA for all ages. All teaches are highly qualified, staff is very helpful. School is open 7 days a week, you can always find comfortable time for your kid and yourself. Also, there is a very good opportunities for kids to have performances during the school year.
My son absolutely loves his piano teacher Ms Antonia and he’s truly enjoyed every moment of his lessons. In less than three years, he’s already completed his Level 7 exam. But more than just progressing through grades, the most important thing is the encouragement and inspiration he has received from his teacher. She has not only nurtured his skills but also fueled his passion for music, making each lesson a positive and enriching experience.
Place looks presentable but don't get fooled by their kindness and great teachers when you 1st start. The person you first meet isn't necessarily the person you'll have for a teacher. The person who eventually started teaxhing my child had a really strong accent and when asked to change teachers the other teacher equally had a strong accent as Well so there was no winning in this situation. There were times when the teacher wasn't even There for my childs lessons and when asked to have a reimbursements to be done it was such a hassle. Totally unprofessional and frustrating for they couldn't do such a simple request. The worst part of this experience is that there were several times that the teachers decided to chit chat while a lesson is going on. That was most certainly the last straw for us for that's such a dissapointment and one of the main reasons we left this place for another. Very disappointed at this place for we had high hopes that our child would eventually love the music world (which she now doesn't). We would never recommend this place to any family who is looking into putting their child here for lessons of any sort.
