I had a wonderful experience here. The food was cooked well and service was great. The manager pays great detail to your needs. I would definitely come back here for another delicious dinner. I had ordered the Gorgonzola with truffle crusted strip loin, it was really flavourful and my steak was cooked to perfection. I had the mashed potatoes and it was nice and creamy. I really enjoyed the pickled vegetables they served as an appetizer to open up your appetite, Im not sure if they were pickled in house or jarred. Atomosphere was great as well, they even had someone playing the piano there which was really nice as most places nowadays have something playing on the radio or CD player.
My wife and I had our 30th anniversary here, our first visit. The ambience was warm and elegant. The service exceptional. Both Staff and Owner went above and beyond expectations to make our occasion truly special. I ordered the steamed lobster, my wife the tuna tartar ... both were simply superb. We would like to thank you for a memorable evening and a very pleasant dining experience.....looking forward to our next visit soon.
Went here three days in a row, really amazing food, great service and a really cool building. I would highly recommend eating here. I had three different dishes while eating here and enjoyed them all. They usually have a special on for the day that is not on the menu and is excellent. Came back again, got the lobster roll, fresh great tasting lobster served on a ciabatta bun with some wasabi mayo which was a very unusual but delightful taste. Always love coming here.
This restaurant is a step back into the gracious 50's and 60's. The service was impeccable, the ambiance was wonderful. the food tasted very good and my only criticism aside from the pricing this was the fact that it was neither local nor organic.
It was neat that they converted the school into a restaurant. The ambiance is dress casual and the service is good (nothing special in my opinion). The food was also about average (I was expecting mpore). I had the salmon, which was fairly dry and not much flavour. I would not go back to the restaurant anytime soon.
