Don't forget to enjoy this restaurant special lunch combo composed of sushi, sashimi, fried veggies & udon (noodles in soup) specially in cold days, which costs $24 per combo. I brought 5 friends and all satisfied with food & price.
My family recommended me here and it was my third time. We usually order Gwangeo sashimi with soup and of course soju. The table is limited and busy during dinner time.
We arrived late at 9 p.m., and the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. The service was friendly, and there were no signs of them rushing us. The quality of the fish was fresh, and the rice maintained its texture even though it was the end of the day. We’ll definitely return to this neighborhood restaurant.
I ordered a salmon avocado roll. While it came promptly, the avocado was not ripe at all. I don’t know how a sushi chef could put this into a sushi roll and serve it to their customers. When I sent it back, they were able to find a more ripe avocado. Why wouldn’t you have done that from the get go? As well, when I asked for some spicy mayo, they brought it to me then told me it was $2 extra charge for a small amount of mayo. I understand if I was doing takeout, but I wasn’t. Won’t be going back here anytime soon. So many other sushi restaurants around the area.
Have been to this restaurant a few times. It’s my friend favourite. It’s cozy. But they have booth seats. There is no much of a decoration. But you would see a few water tanks filled with fish. I was told they are from Korean. We order the sushi and sashimi boat. Good quality meat but the sushi rolling skill is missing We also order fish soup in a ceramic bowl. I had a few pieces of fish but had a few bones. I won’t recommend ordering this especially it’s in soup. Just don’t. Overall serving size is ok. Price is of course above average. Service is ok. There is something unique about this restaurant. It’s like a family run restaurant. The staff all look like they are relatives. Quite interesting. If you never try, please go ahead. The reason would be fresh fish from Korea as they claim
Hands-down the best sashimi (Korean) in town. They have some adventurous dishes - not for the faint hearted. Make sure to book a reservation, especially on a holiday. Their dinner is on the pricey side, but have a good value lunch menu.
Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The sushi is fresh and everything was flavorful and delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely come again!
